This is my first attempt to be a blogger. I hope to type a few items that you will enjoy. |

I do not know where to begin with this description. The time period is from 0 to now. Please don't ask how long that is. I am sure with certain clues, you will be able to figure that out. I am writing this on my favorite old computer at home. I have a computer room that doubles as a retreat for a few of my pets when they want to be alone. I will cover mostly current thoughts. I hope to add some pictures as I have seen in a blog. I think that to do this sharing will take a lot of work, but the pictures I have seen are well worth it. Occasionally, I might review a flashback in mylife. I have times when I just roll that special even around in my mind until it has every possible facet examined. Usually this time is to try to figure out a "what if" scenario. If some of my items have no zest to it feel free to say so. I think that after I have some a few trial runs, then the real me will be out for all of the world to see. Luck you! As the saying goes, "Come with me and the best is yet to be." |
 The key word is CHOICE. I like to use a thesaurus with certain projects and it show alternative words for listed under noun, adjective, etc...others if available. For the noun, I liked the word alternative. For the adjective, I linked the word appropriate or best. So what is a choice? When it is love is a choice, it is as like Shakespeare puts it, "To love or not to love, that is the question. " Can we really handle that kind of choice? And who could bring me the most happiness. Who would respect me the most? With food, it could be quite easy. I I love tomato soup with a salad. It is gone in just minutes. That shows my optimism in a choice . The choice for which kind of food can be What is appropriate for me to eat? A plain salad instead of a salty taco would take the heavy salt out of what I am going to eat. I combine giving and kindness. To give to animal shelters who were abandoned really makes me feel good. Giving to homeless people is a kindness that I need no thank you for. The final word of attitude is for people who hurt others lowers my attitude of their nature and inner thinking. I would choose to not associate with them in the future. I feel the this is like the computer reasoning of "o" versus "1". Do I feel comfortable with that choice or can I sleep well with it. I am only trying to satisfy myself, and no other. My parents tried to teach or explain the good versus bad in some thinking. They always followed the advice with, "It's your choice." Well 30 to 40 years later, is it? I always wanted to make them proud of me. I hope that I have. Well now it is your choice to decide if you liked my writing or explanation. Maybe you might think of the word in another way. Feel free to write. "It is your choice." Bye! |
Day 3947 September 18, 2025 Let’s Talk Music Call me crazy but I have only heard of the name. I recognized JH when I heard the announcement that he had died. What a shame and waste of talent. But that was his choice to either experiment or use drugs to heighten his life and skills. I would call this the wild-child effect. Yes he was popular and sent his crowd of admirers into frenzies. His playing was admired and adored. But again Drugs? So bad and so sad. For the kind of guitar music, there are others. I am a fan of classical music. I have not listened to much lately. I think if the music was played with an orchestra to accompany it, then I get the fullness of the music. Classical Gas is one that is one of my favorites. Mason Williams is very talented and unique in his creativity. I even play it when I work out. That even might give you a hint at how old I am. (Don’t ask!) So I encourage others to listen to music that soothes the soul and feeds the mind. Let the music carry you into the past or make today a little more tolerable. Music is poetry and sensory pleasure in the same package. Go enjoy! |
Day 3943 9-13-25 Violence ! Brutalityl ! Savage responses ! Is on the uprise as never before. Why can’t a person or group use Calmness. Not unconcern. Not detachness. You can only imagine that if you put heat near gun powder, something is going to happen. If you throw a punch in a bar, many somethings might happen. So is there an answer? We are about to find out. When a political activist was killed by assassination, the technique of choice was a bullet to the body, ie the throat, a message was sent. “I don’t like you or your ideas!” “Shut up because you are lying.” “I’ve heard enough!” But what does the Bible say? “Turn the other cheek.” It even gives everyone who believes the man who died for us, 10 rules that might have made society better, like, “Thou shalt not KIll” And that means even if you do not like the particular person you are hating, just walk away. The man who died this last week, even stated that if the opposing person wanted to debate, that he would debate. I do not know all of the ground rules, but I am sure there were some. But now the gauntlet has been thrown down to the assassin’s side. There were a few more people who did not like the murdered person. Tempers have been flaring. Accusations have been made. And the sides are being drawn up. This is not a sudden “Oh I want to kill so and so.” It has been brewing for a while. Earlier in the year someone wanted to kill the leader of our country. He did not succeed. And that is just one thing. What is going to happen next could lead to a civil war or blood bath that will make our country so weak that other countries who are licking their chops will subdue us without mercy. They are smiling at this discord in their war rooms. And we might be conquered without firing a single shot in defense. And one side will blame the other. (As if the other side isn’t a bunch of whiners after the new man at the top isn’t being blamed for everything.) So is revenge the answer. My answer is “NO!” But could it happen. Well, if the leaders don’t call off the raging beasts in their membership, then the percentage will go up. The question is: Do you really love America? Or are you doing things for personal reasons? We cannot bring back the dearly loved man who was trying to do good things for the country. He would want the country, and all people to use the good rules that God gave us and common sense. He would ask for unity and all of us working together. He would give advice and hope to a place where his wife and two children can live is without seeing more ugly violence. |

day 3938 Sept. 8, 2025 End of Summer Camping Trip I don't go camping......but if I did, here is my response There are bugs in my hair And I wonder why they are there. I really, really stink And I itch where I am pink I lost my favorite earring Where I put another pretty bling. So that is a few reasons Why won't do any more camping. Oh, and I found an ugly toad In the middle of the road. And the other little pest Is a bug that I detest. Can leave the park today? Because another day I cannot bear to stay. I want to write my parents To never let me go with Grandpa Bob, camping. All joking aside, even if it is in the backyard, I would choose to stay at home. PLEASE! |
Day Aug. 30 of 3930 Your choices are pretty good. I have heard the inspiration-perspiration one and think the for those geniuses out there would male the perfect group for this study. Yes people can be inspired to do or create something so innovative that the world will come running to their doors. If it is a product that took years of trial and error, then pour on the anti-perspiration product. It this is a book of all books, then just buy it, read it and use the advice. Many people can have something right in front of them and not take a hint. And some people who are geniuses can offer an item that has never been seen or used before and others who might think they are geniuses but are not, I think that I have found myself off topic again. Sorry. The invention of the wheel, or the telescope will always be important. The book called the dictionary will always be needed. So It depends on what you need to solve a problem or make life easier. Thank a genius who thought of or wrote it first. Make adjustments. If you want a better world you must have materials and or notes to move forward. If I was a genius I would have a better response. I apologize for my rambling and dullness of my answer. I'm sure that there are some great ones given. I am going to check some out. Have a good daly. |
