My views on life and whatever is chucked my way. Feel free to share your opinion.
Reaching the age of 37 I now realise I am turning into my own mother. Now that is a scary thought. My son has just reached his teens and has aquired the knack of selective hearing just like I did at his age. There I am blathering on about tidying rooms or picking up clothes etc etc and he's plugged into his MP3 player. Of course he doesn't listen, why should he? I'm a mum and now invisable. Only useful when tea is served up or he needs a ride into town. Was I this bad?

I reckon it's that old saying 'What goes around comes around'. Sometimes I can hear my own voice going on and on like a parrot and I wouldn't listen either. To combat this I have taken on my defence. In the shape of sarcastic humour. My comments tend to go over his head but it makes me chuckle. I can laugh at my own jokes and its great. Sad I know, but still great. Still have to be careful if I laugh to much might need some more of those Tena lady pads. Bit late for pelvic floor exercises....
