| Prompt: "Projects that sound strange or impossible at first often up being the most rewarding if given a chance." Amy Flurry I scrapbook and thought the page I was designing was going to be hard but I found out it wasn't and it turned out perfect. When at work, I had to take a syringe and draw up some fluid, take off the cap and squirt into a woman's nose who had a seizure at my job. I did it perfect. She was a patient where I worked. I was scared. This isn't a project like a craft but my nursing job could be rewarding at times. I did rubber stamping with my mother and they seemed hard but I was able to create a cute card that friends love because I made it. Putting up my tree and Christmas decorations. They looked beautiful so it was worth it. I did it. I had made a bracelet once. That was hard. I would rather buy my jewelry then make it. I have made my photo album books, also journals and they were hard but were rewarding in the end. Scrapbooking and making journals can be hard but it is rewarding.  |

I love to decorate with tea pots, tea cups, dolls, stuffed animals, blue willow ceramics, throw pillows, a table cloth on a dining room table with my Jane Austen Tea Pot and matching cups, my jewelry box on legs in the bedroom, a straw hat on a pole, decorative items on my faux fireplace, books, dolls on the top of the book case, a brown stuffed horse next to my Heartland DVD's. A Beatles picture, Jesus picture, lighthouse picture, Victorian House picture, Wedding gown shadow box. Okay. I take a breath. I love my Pioneer Woman Ree Barbie Doll on my kitchen counter and my autographed Ree Pioneer woman Cookbook next to my cutting board. My scrapbooks are in a boo case next to another room. A brass bed with flowered porcelain balls, cherry wood furniture, a cat tower in the living room, a navy blue sailor look couch and Queen Anne Dining Room table. A neat computer room desk with shelves and a Jane Austen Doll on my side. A doll house by my white wicker couch in my room edition. I feel this defines who I am and guests are welcome to visit me. I will give them a snack, bake a cake and I hope my house reminds you of a decorated room in Victoria Magazine. This is what I try for. Our home is our castle. |
| Prompt: What is the best thing about January? It's a new year. You have hopes and dreams for the new year. It is like it is a chance to start over. You feel at peace for awhile and think maybe things will be alright and you have hopes as you plan for the new year. It is like a new beginning. A second chance. 2020. A new decade. It is like you start a new decade as well as a new year. You want to make changes. You can smile and say you have survived another decade and hope to live through 3 more decades.
