Sounds like a nice day spent with your cousin. Getting out of the house after all that snow and cold in your area must have felt wonderful. I hope the rest of winter treats you well.
I hope all goes well with the selling of your mother's house.
This was a really vivid image, one that I can see even more clearly because my surroundings look much the same. I love that you feed the birds and the crows. I am not brave enough to befriend a crow but where I used to live, there were lots of them.
We don't have snow, here in South FL. But, so unlike FL weather, we have a bitter cold with the sun shining. Last night here in the far south, the temps hit 20s. It is in the 30s now, and so unusual for FL weather.
Prompt: What does February look like in your backyard?
We have a few snow drifts. We live by cornfields. They are covered in snow. If the Groundhog tries to see his shadow, he will be tunneling snow. It is going to be 20 Degrees today. There is some ice I am sure. There is snow on the pole barn. There is snow on the front steps. We have crows and birds. We give them bread. The snow is clean for now but it will be dirty if it rains. All I can see is snow. Welcome to Winter in Indiana.
