My cousin, son and his wife and myself have been cleaning out my mother's house. My mother saved newspapers from The Washington DC papers. We lived by Washington DC when President Kennedy was shot. It was heart breaking reading the article of JFKs death and Jon Jon saluting the casket. I saw JFK when I was eight years old and I liked him. I am saving these articles and scrapbooking them.

I also bought home dolls and jewelry I had as a kid.

My husband bought hom a brown wooden table that I put my father's flag, medals and replica of the C130 he flew.

Mom and Dad's grave stone arrived earlier this week and it is beautiful.

It has been nice having my son and his wife here. It has been rough with Mom dying.

I pray to God and cherish the memories.
