Cam, a deep space pilot, has always done what she needs to do to survive; but after crash landing on a strange, uncharted planet, she must put those survival skills to good use. Mistaken for the subject of a centuries old prophecy, she must play the part of a queen in order to keep a dangerous secret. Dakkan, King of Alothia, has spent his life fighting for the salvation of the planet that he loves and has never had ambitions of a wife or a family, but when the fiery space pilot comes litterally crashing into his world, everything will change. Obligated to honor his world's traditions and prophecies, he relents to marry the young terrarian, but he has a few secrets of his own. Wrapped up in prophecies and secrets, the two unlikely betrothed find themselves realizing their own hidden desires and discovering what the didn't even know they had always wanted.
