One writer's journey

She sat down at her old wooden desk, pen at the ready. Her thoughts raced. What shall I write today? Tilting her head to the side, a small smile tugged at the corner of her mouth before enveloping her delicate face. The purple ink began to fill the once blank sheet, each stroke a labor of pure joy as the words flowed from her mind, her heart, her very soul.

My Dreams...

to write of romance and endless love
to love without boundaries
to learn from past mistakes
to laugh with all my heart
to be the woman I am meant to be

TODAY...

I will reach for the stars

Will not give up

Will give all that I have

Dare to dream the impossible dream

For anything in this life is possible

I agree, sunshine brings the world to life, and me with it! Much of the winter was grey and gloomy. I am ready for the sun!

I grew up on the border. My friends and family could be devastated if Ontario pulls the plug. Michigan? You probably have the longest border along with Alaska, but it's the economy... Here in Montana, almost all foreign exports are from Canada. What should Canada do? Join the EU? Which they could if it weren't for Brexit. I should have sympathy for Trumpers; but, I don't.

it's funny you mention wisdom. As a kid, you hear some of them and think wth kind of crazy is that. Grow up, and it's like spot on! And makes you sit back and think.

Irish used to call me snickelfritz. Everything says it's German on the internet, so now I'm wondering where he picked it up. And I'm thinking it's from his Army days during WWII. I mean, 💯 Irish boy from smalltown Ohio. If not, then my grandfather was not as innocent as he claimed to be

Irish words were very popular in my upbringing. Don't be an Eejit was a word my Grandma frequently say to us kids. Another expression I'm way too familiar with where's the jacks (restroom).

Irish phrases aren't always Irish phrases especially with AI mucking everything up.

Cooking oils like Wesson and Crisco come from Mexico in addition to avocados, strawberries, and raspberries. Canada provides 75% of the maple syrup products and building lumber. Even school buses come from Canada.

He'll never take responsibility...look at all that has happened and not once has he admitted any wrong doing.

Your decorations sound absolutely beautiful

I am not sure what the 50's or 20's are but here in South West England it has been sunny since the start of March but still getting down to minus temps at night!

People think March is Spring in the UK but it is actually still Winter....

I'm glad someone likes March. I grew up very near Lake Erie and March was always a disappointment. Inland would be Spring; we lived in an icebox.

Ramadan... we have two mosques in Montana but total Muslim population may be under 100... statewide. We have 52,000 Mormons (LDS) as a comparison. Irish are everywhere. This helps explain how different Montana is from Michigan (not to forget to mention that we're mining and ranching versus auto and farming).

Bring on the Sunshine

Prompt: "Spring makes its own statement, so loud and clear that a gardener seems to be only one of his instruments, not the composer.” ― Geoffrey Charlesworth What's your favorite part of spring?

Sunshine! Winters here are so drab. The warmer temperatures I never complain about, but for me it's seeing the sun regularly. I'm one of those people whose moods can change with the weather. It always amazes me how how a little sunlight can lift my spirits. Plus, the sunshine can push the chills out of your body on a cold day. It's a win win!
