Since I joined WdC 5 weeks ago, I don't look at FB and Twitter much. Nothing can beat WdC!

Sorry to say I "waste" some time on FB too. I enjoy catching up on others' doings but like "Lady Lyn" wdc is my true love.

I post everyday and share things with my family and friends, probably not my most intellectual side either but I really feel that the publisher is going to have accept that there are many aspects of me or he'll discover how ornery this old lady can be.

Facebook could disappear and I would be okay but if WDC did I would definitely have a break down.

It's good to see you blogging again.

You could try going to parks or out for walks to increase your downtime without people that wouldn't bust your budget.

There are all different types of love indeed and the love between a mother and child is powerful.

Romeo and Juliet was required reading for me in school and because we were made to read it I stubbornly resisted connecting to it. I am not a fan of his writing.

We are lucky to have so many options available to fulfill our desire for love and different genre takes on it.

Day 13: Song Hate and Being Late (I just like to rhyme ;-P)

What song do you absolutely hate, and why do you hate it so much?

Another good question, because there are very few tunes that make me change the channel quickly or pull my hair in frustration if I'm forced to listen to it. Truthfully, anything that plays on the radio more than 4/5 times a hour ends up being loathed at some point in time; but that ebbs, so long as I stop listening to the radio for a while :-/

Hmmmm, first song to come to mind is probably Katy Perry's - California Girls .

I love Katy Perry and the song isn't completely awful.....I think I just got burnt out on it. Doesn't help my sister and her daughter love it and made me listen to it a couple times in a row once. *ugh* Actually they were in my car so I think I only suffered through it once then refused to replay it when my niece asked. I felt bad and consequently I blame Perry for making me feel like a bad aunt ;-P

Ha, the verses are fine but I couldn't even listen to the entire chorus just now when I searched for a video to link to. Yea, too soon.

Truth is, there's no such thing as nothing to do. Least not in my world.

O there are plenty of things I don't want to do; even things I don't feel like doing. But there is ALWAYS something to do and/or that needs to be done.

So, what do I do when I don't feel like cleaning my apartment, cleaning out the kitty litter, furthering my career, enhancing my resume/portfolio, calling/spending time with my family, or any of the other infinite self-improvement techniques I should be taking part in? Nothing.

Simply and blissfully, nothing. I've got procrastination down to an art form. I'm not bragging, just speaking the truth. While I work on my self-discipline everyday I like the idea of having a 'better half' to encourage me not to put things off. You see, I'm a people pleaser; and it's more important to me to get things done when someone else is counting on me to spend time/do things with them later on.
