There are many new, fantastic changes happening around WDC. What thrills you about the community we call Writing.com? On a broader note, what does Writing.com mean to you? How would you "sell" a community like ours to a writer friend of yours who is looking for a good writing site?

Today is the beginning of Mardi Gras.
Have you ever been? What do you think of the festivities? If you did go, what carnival costume would you pick? If you live else where are there similar festivities?Inquiring minds want to know *Bigsmile*

Nope, afraid I never have. My best friend Tiffany is from Mobile, AL apparently the original site of Mardi Gras. She really wants me to visit and I really want to but alas, money issues.
No costumes for me, just good ol' drinkin' and people watchin'.

Walking Dead. Haven't even given it a chance because while I can stomach zombie movies, I'm not that interested in an ongoing gory death scenario.
