I live in Auckland, New Zealand's largest city. It might be the largest, but it's still only just over a million people, so not a big city by international standards. I am married (sixteen years now!) to Dodgy Steve  . He's not addicted to WDC as I am. His current obsessions are whisky and fishing!We have two children - Jayden is 18 and Caitlin is 14. They are both the light and the bane of my life. You'll see that, in this blog. Most of my dramas are caused by the smallish people in my life! My big dream is to buy that home on the quarter acre section, and then when the kids have left home, TRAVEL!  The rest you can find out as you read along. |

We used medication for a while, but when I started teaching her at home I took her off of it. It took a while for us both to find a good routine, but I think we've made a lot of progress. I used to write out a list of things for her to do because if I said, "While I'm gone I want you to wash the dishes, take out the trash, and give the dog a bath." She would start washing the dishes, stop to use the bathroom (or whatever), totally forget to finish the dishes, and then have no idea what she was supposed to be doing. She's 15 now and writes her own lists, which I think is a good sign!
