The history of Prosperous Snow written for the group Reminiscences
I began actively writing my memoirs on Sunday, October 27, 2013. I am 66 years old and want to leave a legacy for my family and my friends. I realized I wanted to leave some type of legacy after my mother died on Thursday, November 29, 2012. My mother had Alzheimer's disease, which devastated her memory and mind. I do not want my memories to die with me or to be lost to a brain disease of some type, so I will write them in this book.

I updated this book in February 2017 by adding the entries from I Am A NaNo Rebel 2016. Those entries were intended to be used in my autobiography, which I want to write. Since I have not decided on a name for the autobiography, I am putting the entries intended for it in this book.

This is a picture of my mother and me

I stood behind her,
both of us
smiled into the camera.

I stood behind her,
neither of us knew
the sorrow
that the following years would hold.

I stood behind her,
as if
I was the one who had her back
and not
the other way around.

Two of my Favorite Scriptures

"O Son of Being!
Thou art My lamp and My Light is in thee. Get thou from it thy radiance and seek none other than Me. For I have created thee rich and bountifully shed my favor upon thee."
Baha'u'llah1

“I swear by My life! Nothing save that which profiteth them can befall My loved ones. To this testifieth the Pen of God, the Most Powerful, the All-Glorious, the Best Beloved.”
Baha'u'llah2
