I didn't have that problem with a parent, thank God. My oldest son was an alcoholic who refused help or to seek help.

Triggered my memory of having a Bank of Montreal account, ages ago.

I use a local bank where they know my face; but, identity theft goes far beyond that. One thing about WDC I like is that much of my writings are here which gives me a fighting chance to retrieve what I've written and a chance to prove that anything I've written is mine.

As for passwords... I can't remember them all. So, yeah, some are far too simple and others are written down. I use my WDC account daily. That helps.

. I actually like the song... and sometimes its good to get the blues out of you so that the sun can shine again.

Those two songs are my blues tunes.

After I listen to them it is often good to listen to something upbeat like Overcomer.

"I was just joking!" would be my pick too. I have some family members who deliver horrible insults then act like anyone who reacts without a hearty laugh has no sense of humor and / or is stupid. It's mean all around.

Yes, number 8 is senseless. It only shows how flimsy and empty the ideas or the talk of the person who says it. Mostly, I shrug such cliches off.

Songs I Love to Listen to or Sing along with...

Blogging Circle of Friends: DAY 3421 July 2, 2022

Music: 💙 Carly-wrimo 2024 mentioned she likes to sing to lift her spirits. What song lifts your spirits? Do you play the song or do you just sing it yourself?

I will make up my own words or belt out songs with the radio (in my car or at home).

The one song that always used to make me smile... when I was frustrated by my (now ex) husband.
You are my Sunshine.... only I changed the words:

You are my asshole
My only asshole
You frustrate me
Beyond belief.

You are my asshole
My only asshole
Please go take
A flying leap.

These words change at times, but the sentiment is there. It got so I could hum it with him in the room and he had no clue what words I was really thinking!

But other than that... I am open to an eclectic taste in music. As I have gotten older I tended to listen to Contemporary Christian music.... not the gospel stuff - that stuff is a bit much.
The commonality in all these songs... is their lyrics. I love the words, the melody and the harmony.... it just resonates with me and my soul.
