I've found that my blog entry often ends up being a short story instead because my juices are flowing and I'm not ready to stop yet.

I agree with you that blogging does give a writer discipline.

I can easily imagine ankles, knees and or hips getting yanked out of their accustomed places by the sudden halting of that death-defying plunge, so no bungees for me, thank you! Although, intellectually, I think it would be cool to skydive, I'm pretty sure I'll keep getting into and, most importantly, out of airplanes the old fashioned way.

Our library has children's story hour in the morning, math and reading tutoring available in the morning. In the afternoon, there are different craft activities for school age children. It's all free so a lot of families take advantage of what is offered.

. My cat Macavity does a great job of hounding me whenever we have turkey because I always give Pumpkin and him small pieces. But Macavity starts from the time it comes out of the oven, impatient. And I learned the hard way not to leave the turkey unattended because he will help himself.
