I keep forgetting to reply to the suggestion above.

I add new choices to old chapters on an ad hoc basis: usually when I am working in that branch, and I see a nearby chapter, or an earlier chapter, where I would have wanted more choices originally. I don't go looking for places to increase the number of choices.

But if someone knows of a chapter that could use more choices, and would like to see them added, just drop me a line.

Question RE: "BoM Poll: "The Fake Book""

- What's your (Seuzz or anyone) opinion of adding more options to some chapters especially the very old ones that were limited before it was raised to five options? Not every chapter would work to get more, but there are some that another option may have been (still could be) possible.

I haven't gone to look for examples, but I may if I have some time.

From what I've heard from a CC at YouTube, not very good. It's basically forcing you to restart again, except you get a few advantages from your earlier progression. A change for the sake of it, not because it was necessary.

You tell me if that's the case, though. I recall "1MT'ing" with Civ1 on a SNES emulator during college almost through 4 AM, so I know the allure.

I 1MT-ed yesterday for, like, 7 hours into the dead of night. I was so mad at myself.

In my defense, I was trying to get through the "Age of Antiquity" to the "Age of Exploration" because I wanted to see what this new "Age of" mechanic is like.

Yeah... Don't wanna be the bringer of bad news, but you'll most likely take a hiatus sooner more than later. I know about the power of "1MT", and it is utterly captivating. (At least I'll probably have to wait until it releases on Switch or Switch 2, so I'm kinda safe.)

I'm double-tackling both Wizardry 1 remake (on the Switch, of course) and a modded Final Fantasy VI (on an emulator on my phone; coincidentally, it's the farthest I've gotten in FFVI, since I could finish the game at any time, but I'm distracted grinding everyone's levels to tackle one of the new bosses the mod added while figuring out everyone). Curiously enough, both are basically pick-and-go, which isn't eating too much of my free time.

I guess people learned from the last poll that GPs can make a difference.

In the Free Polls, "Keep investigating the book" and "Plots Have I Laid" held comfortable leads in their respective polls, but GPs skewed the outcomes wildly. Here are the final results, with Free Poll results in brackets afterward for comparison:

BoM Poll: "The Fake Book"
* Return the book to the bookstore: 52.1% [24%]
* Keep investigating the book: 26.2% [40%]
* Show the book to your dad 15.7% [24%]
* Give the book to a friend 6.0% [12%]
* Bury the book in your room: 0% [0%]

BoM Poll: "The Continuing Story ..."
* Making Mickey: 52.5% [24.1%]
* Plots Have I Laid: 26.4% [37.9%]
* Vengeance on an Ex-Friend: 15.6% [27.6%]
* Taking One for Team Kendra: 5.6% [10.3%]

As a result, the choice for "The Continuing Story" been settled, and I'll be continuing "Making Mickey" when we're done with the current branch. Meanwhile, there's a new poll on how to continue the other storyline: "BoM Poll: "The Desperate Collector""

And what's going on with the poll that is currently running ({item:})? We'll find out tomorrow ...

GPs will be parceled out and returned to voters just as soon as I make some complicated calculations.
