Hello everyone! Drop me a line! |
Oh my Lord, (Oh my Lord) they keep on talking trash. Oh my Lord, (Oh my Lord) they keep on spending cash. Oh my Lord, (Oh my Lord) when will this truly end? And restore peace between us all? We all make mistakes in life, to forgive, start with oneself. In doing so, we’ll progress in life, restoring our rightful path. I have tried to live my life, hiding from wealth, embracing my worth. I have worked freely in life, giving many a love-filled start. All I want out of this life, is to give love towards this world. Christmas is truly everyday, so exchange your hate for love. Love and hate; love and hate (dancing in circles) Love and hate; love and hate (dancing in circles) Love and hate; love and hate (dancing in circles) Use love, not hate; love, not hate (forgive each other) Restore our humanity and path. For through hate, we shall see our end. There will be no future for us. Yeah, that’s right. Yeah, that’s right. (embrace the gift of life) Yeah, that’s right. Yeah, that’s right. (embrace the gift of life) Yeah, that’s right. Yeah, that’s right. Are we free, or are we slave? How many times through history, will this sick opera repeat? Oh my Lord, (Oh my Lord) they keep on talking trash. Oh my Lord, (Oh my Lord) they keep on spending cash. Oh my Lord, (Oh my Lord) when will this truly end? And restore peace between us all? Why must we repeat our past? When it’s full of hate! Why do we end up waging war between us, as if its fate? Our hate must be set aside. Before humanity seals its fate. Although pride and prejudice shouldn’t hide, Forgive each other, before it’s too late. Repeating the same sick plays. Hiding hate through the fog of wars. Erasing entire cultures with their peoples. Has been done, too many times. Do you want to live this way? Do you need to even the score? We all make and wear our mistakes, baby. Why must we repeat our past? When it’s full of hate! Why do we end up waging war between us, as if its fate? We should be reaching for the stars! Exploring the gifts that frame our lives! Instead we take the gift of life away, Through rage, anger, and hate. Set this death filled path aside, Restore hope and faith! It’s through common sense, promoting equality. That we can restore our future, Securing it for all of humanity. Through the use of common rules. Through the use of our love. Together we can overcome, becoming one! Why must we repeat our past? When it’s full of hate! Why do we end up waging war between us, as if its fate? Our hate must be set aside. Before humanity seals its fate. (restore our fate) Through the use of love. (love) Then there will be peace (peace) Spoken at the end: “My currency has always been love. A single currency for the planet celebrating our cultural differences along with achievements is the way forward. Our lives are priceless, this currency will be based upon the value of life itself.” |
“Wandering Thoughts,” by John Oross, named after his series of writing journals, is a collection of poetry, prose, short stories, open political letters, a mini script, and lyrical works touching upon a myriad of topics that are written to engage the reader to contemplate. Throughout his life, he has faced adversity, homelessness, memory loss, divorce, loss of people dear, places and things, yet has never given into despair. Based upon his experiences and born from his opinions, you are taken upon a journey whereby together you confront the topics of equality as a human right to slavery through currency differentials used to diminish the lives of entire cultures. Confront our collective past, bring it forward within present conversations, change begins within each of us through respecting our cultural differences, forgiving our collective transgressions, and working towards equality and unity of purpose for humanity as a collective, thereby securing our future for generations to come. |
