A metaphor for my take on life and how it affects me. |

| It's been a beautiful day our temps reached 81° and it was calm in the morning but the wind picked up in the afternoon, but we survived. Our Cat Greta who is a Sphinx (hairless) had a problem with her left ear and we had to take her to the Veterinarian. They kept her all day and did surgery on her ear and she was doped up when we picked her up this evening. She has a Cone placed around her neck, and she had a lot problems moving around when she first came home. I'm sure when all the medication wears off and she figures out what she has to do with the cone on; she'll become better able to move around. Here's hoping that is the case! I've continued to have problems with the pigeons trying to nest under our solar panels. This has been going on all month, every time I knock down the nest they rebuild. Today I knocked down the nest 5 times. My problem is where they are building there nest I can only reach with a long pole (actually was a chimney sweep pole) and I can't knock the sticks around far enough. That makes easy for them to start building the nest again. Since I'm a Senior Citizen who has past the point of climbing up ladders of any length and height, I can't retrieve the peaces of sticks and branches. The only thing I can do is continue to knock down the nest before they make it a permanent home. Time will tell who wins this battle. I continue to get scraps and bruises since my roof is cement tile, but I'm ready for the challenge! Well I think it's about time to call it a night or day. Tomorrow will come soon enough.
