And yes, I know about the poppies. and I think it is a wonderful tribute to those who sacrificed so much, through the image of a beautiful flower with deep meaning.

I love the monthly puppet shows; they teach children how to use the marionettes and then they do a monthly performance.
I loved Vincent Price, just rented the Pit and the Pendulum to watch again. I heard it read at a Poe event, I came home and read it again myself then watched. It brought back some cool memories of watching Vincent Price with my friends.
Dancing? Mmmm. Haven’t done much of that lately. I remember way back when, my brother and I had ballroom dancing lessons I was fifteen and he seventeen.
Then I met my husband to be in 1960. We could jive then and did so throughout the sixties and beyond but I always hankered after ballroom. I’d forgotten most of it and John, bless him, really hated it. We made a pact I would learn scuba diving so I could be his dive buddy and he’d learn ballroom dancing. Scuba diving was not my forte, I suffer from claustrophobia but I persevered until at last I did it. Then came his turn to fulfil the dancing lessons. After two lesson he declared it was “ too stressful!” 😤
So the music that gets my feet a- tappin’ these days. Well I still love the sound of a Viennese Waltz.
