I like the idea that some of the proceeds go to charities. I wish that happened here but Nevada doesn't participate in the lotteries available. I think it has a lot to do with the casino's not wanting any competition.
This year food is a little challenging for me as I struggle with an auto immune condition which requires a low carb/ sugar diet.
As I adore sweet things such as biscuits, cake and chocolates and fresh bread, this is proving a great test of my willpower.
But! The best thing is I can have cheese! I love cheese and olives.
My favourite meal would be: creamy mashed potatoes, steak and kidney pie and carrots.
Followed by Lemon meringue pie with cream or ice cream.
Followed by a nice piece of dark chocolate, coffee and a large glass of red wine.
