| The rapid rise in the use of technology is a two edged sword. We love our phones, tablets and computers, the very idea of being without them fills us with dread. However what have we lost? People are becoming obsessed with their phones. It seems as if they are an extension of their hands, impossible to separate themselves. The question of what people waste time doing is becoming obvious as we see mothers ignoring their children in the parks, instead checking their Facebook account. Couples out for a date, each on their own phones instead of talking to each other. They are missing out on their real lives, instead living vicariously through other’s lives which are portrayed as so much better. What a waste! |
