Joy Thanks for your comments. Yes, you’ve right about things changing with age. I never thought I’d find myself incapacitated. Weird isn’t it? I’m sure we all have had the sense that ‘old age won’t happen to me!’ It seems life had other plans.😂
Hope your recovery after your knee surgery is progressing well.
Nice entry.
Like you, I don't do clothes shopping anymore, and with the arthritis, I stopped walking outside, but I walk inside the house and around the yard. Things change greatly as we grow older and older.

Hats off to you! I don't think I could do what you did. On the other hand, having a lot of people fixing things while you are taking care of the kids and trying to keep them safe would have its own downers, too.
Anyhow, so glad you could and did do all that! That's some feat to be proud of.
Lyn's a Witchy Woman I wish you a speedy recovery from your knee replacements. I understand it’s a painful operation but worthwhile. I’ll be thinking of you on Monday. 😉🤞🍀☘️ Good luck, Lyn
I agree the cheetos aka the man who wants to be Hitler and Putin rolled into one, his ignorance will definitely have global impacts.
I've been getting as much as I can in order before my surgery on Monday, February 3rd. I'm having my right knee replaced followed my left shortly after. Writing didn't fit in for me either. Looking forward to seeing more of you in the months ahead.
weather where I live is also unsettling. Took the dogs out for a walk yesterday had some sunshine but today is fog and rain on top of a couple feet of snow turning everything to slush.
Every year I look forward to something called January Thaw. This year we just had a new blizzard every couple days. If the thaw does not show up properly in February, the sap won't run properly from the trees less maple syrup probably. Anyway, forecast says sunshine tomorrow. If we have a freeze in the night all slush will turn to ice.
The feeling was amazing indeed. The first night was the scariest but after that I found so much joy in each task I tried. I've surprised myself on more than one occasion, Yes I can do anything I set my mind to doing.
Lyn's a Witchy Woman I can’t say I’d be tempted to go camping on my own, so I think you’re very brave. It would have given you so much confidence knowing you succeeded. Afterwords you must have felt as if there was nothing you couldn’t do on your own.
Write about a fictional road trip where you meet up with your fellow competitors from the 30DBC! Who do you visit first? Do you bring any gifts? Tell us about the crazy blogger shenanigans you all get up to!
Well I honestly don’t like road trips. The long endless miles listening to the same songs over and over. Mind you the company one keeps makes a difference I suppose. I would need to be entertained and I think Mr. Waltz’s knowledge of all things diverse would fill in a few hours as we cross the Nullarbor. The Nullarbor, meaning place of no trees. Oh, yes didn’t I say we’re going on Highway One. This will send us all around Australia. But I must warn you there is plenty of nothingness between places of interest. QPdoll will keep us amused with her “why you say that” information and Kåre เลียม Enga’s knowledge of travel on a shoestring budget will surely help us too. We actually need a good cook, I’m not sure which of our 30 day blogging challengers would fit the bill. Please don’t depend on my culinary skills, cooking up a kangaroo or two is not in my skill set. However I’m sure a good time will be had by all. I’m actually starting to look forward to it.
