| Had a lovely surprise this morning to find I’d been awarded a package of gifts from the Rockin’Reviewers for completing the course. Entered a new story into my portfolio, I’m actually pleased with it, so hope it at least gets read. Went to the open day of the learning center this morning. Bought a few Knick-knacks for the kids from the white elephant stall. John got lots of books as usual. Called in to see daughter Sarah whilst we were in the neighbourhood. Sad about my granddaughter and her husband splitting up, they told the kids this week. Indi was the most upset, but she’s older and realised how different things will be. Such a shame. The rain has been steady and we’ve had a good soaking. It’s really cold though, so our log fire is working overtime. |
