| PROMPT July 10th What are you particularly passionate about within your career/job? If you are retired, what were you passionate about in your job when you retired? I suppose as I have been in customer service in one way or another all my life, my passion is making sure of customer satisfaction. It all started for me when selling people groceries when I was fourteen years old. Then I was working in a betting shop taking bets, reckoning bets, taking money or paying it out. In that job keeping punters happy even when they were losing money was important. Always have a smile , a joke or show interest in their troubles, that was my passion. People are my passion, I love finding out about them. Afterwards for thirty or more years working off and on in our own business serving customers every day becomes the norm. In retirement life is quieter but I still try to make someone’s day brighter when I can. |
