The simplicity of my day to day. |
This is where I write my thoughts, feelings and my daily trials, tribulations and happy things
|
PROMPT September 7th I completely rearranged my desk space yesterday! It was a much-needed change and has helped with my motivation. What does your desk space / writing space look like? What sorts of things do you need (or not need) in your work space to be productive and happy? Well if you could see me now as I write this, you will be envious of my writing space. I’ll describe it. To my left is a log fire, crackling away. To my right on the sofa, is my husband, fast asleep. On the rug in front of me is my big Weimaraner, Lucy, who is also dreaming, chasing rabbits by the sounds she’s emitting. Now to where I am situated. A lovely deep recliner chair, feet raised and IPad in hand. That’s how I do all my writing, one finger tapping away. No need for fancy desk or office chair. All I’m waiting for now is a cup of tea. Hubby will wake up soon and bring me one, hopefully with a square of his Father’s Day chocolate. |
PROMPT September 6th Reflect on the last week. Write about something you did really well last week and something you could have done better. I wrote a story for the Anthology at the Dreamweaver’s Lounge and Grill. I enjoyed writing it and thought it was good (still do). I didn’t do a good enough edit and yet I sent my entry to Blimprider. I could kick myself because I rushed it. My aim is to get a five star review from him, let me tell you, they are hard to get. 🤔 I wrote a letter to my grandson. He is twenty three and in the army. He and his mum had a misunderstanding and my letter was the calming influence. I think I did well as an intermediary. I think I could have done better at my community writing group and said nothing🤫 Oh, well, you win some, you lose some. |
