** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** Hi, I'm Elle. I'm based in Auckland, New Zealand. I'm the mother of two young adults, the wife of an entrepreneurial gamer and the Queen of Unfinished Projects. This blog will contain poems, short stories, possibly photos and book reviews if you're lucky, and my thoughts on a variety of topics. Hope you enjoy it. |
Would you rather live a boring, long life or an exciting, short life? ~ "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" ![]() Boring or exciting by whose definition? I think my life is pretty boring by most people's way of thinking, but I'm happy. It doesn't need to be exciting, certainly not all the time. In fact, constant excitement is exhausting. So yeah, I think I'm voting for long and boring. ![]() Would you rather be able to fly or teleport? ~ "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" ![]() Definitely teleport. I live in New Zealand and we're a long fucking way from anywhere. Even if I could fly, it'd still be exhausting and take a long time to get anywhere. Teleportation? That'd be so awesome. I'd go so many places. Oh, and imagine how much you'd save on travel costs!! And ugh, 30+ hour plane rides suck. Would you rather be able to only time travel to the past or only time travel to the future? ~ "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" ![]() This very much depends on whether you can go back and forth between the past and present, or future and present. Because if you can only go backwards or only go forwards, that changes everything. If you go into the future and can't go back, you've missed part of your life. But if you go backwards and can't return to the present, you have to live that portion of your life again. Given those two options, I think I'd choose going back to the past. But I'd be very wary of going back too far. Would you rather lose your hearing or your sight? ~ "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" ![]() Definitely hearing. Deaf people have all their independence, and blind people can, but it's much more difficult. Would you rather live the rest of your life as a cat or a dog? ~ "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" ![]() A cat. I'm definitely a cat person. And cats aren't as needy, are more independent, and lead more comfortable, cosy lives. ![]() |
