Most entries are going to be E rated but some may go beyond that. |
You just want to read? These entries will be freshly written for a contest. Since I plan on joining many then I'm putting them all in a book. Sit back and enjoy it. I'll try to do a (poem) line count, (story) word count, prompt, and which contest I entered in. Though I won't be mentioning it in the piece, but "The Contest Challenge" will be a part of a contest I enter since it's about entering into a contest following its rules. Wish me luck! |
Nothing better to say But to be a part of the country The country lives on Proud and strong When it was young It could've easily given up But the struggle for freedom Was worth its price As it developed Obstacles became opportunity The country expanded Living and strong Now we live in freedom Thanks to our country Diversity thrives Proud and strong Prompt: pride in the country Line Count: 16 Contest: "HONORING OUR VETERANS " |

Must I say anything? Just look at this beautiful vase. It's colors are perfect and its gloss is just as shiny. Wait? What is this? A crack at the bottom? Something is wrong here, it's just too good too be true. If it leaks then I can't buy it. It's no good to buy a vase with a crack on the bottom. I'll try the next vase. This vase is very earthy, down to earth from the tip to the bottom. Yet it is suitable to hold water in. I must buy it. Alas- here is something wrong, yet again. I see a hole in the bottom. It will leak. This I can't do. No, no, no I won't buy it. Prompt: 'Here is something wrong- a feeling' Word count: 131 Contest: "Invalid Item" |
