Welcome to my blog: I intend to share heartfelt writing about anything that comes to mind. |
Take UP Your Cross Prompt: Write about who God is to you. Answer: God is the creator of everything, Heaven and Earth. He is all powerful and everywhere. There is no place I can go to escape his Awesome presence, not do I want to. He is the perfect picture of love, full of mercy and grace. He is kind, forgiving, humble, long-suffering, meek, and righteous. He is to be adored and feared at the same time. He is a jealous God. He wants all of my love, reverence, and devotion. And why shouldn’t He get it? In reality, I want that from Him. He is able to give it even though He has many children. He loves us all equally. He does not discriminate or chose favorites. He makes sure everything works out for my good, even the worst things that happen in my life. He sent His Son Jesus to pay the penalty for my sins so I could have a relationship with Him. Jesus willingly sacrificed himself for me. Then God sent the Holy Spirit so I would not be left alone and comfortless. He provides all my needs. I could probably go on and on. He is my everything. I love my God, and He loves me. 😊 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PROMPT May 7th In your entry today, write about dreams. Do you dream often, or do you rarely remember your dreams? What is the strangest or most memorable dream you have ever had? Now this is a subject I can write about. I have a lot of dreams. I am a very vivid dreamer. I dream in color. I sometimes even hear music in my dreams like the background music played in a movie or TV show. My dreams are often very animated and realistic. I have had many memorable dreams. Here is one of them I wrote about recently.
I have had prophetic dreams. I recently had a dream that told me it was time to take a stand in regards to a situation I was facing. I have had dreams tell me when someone died or was going to die. I have had dreams that told me how to reunite with people from my past. I usually have strange dreams after I swallow Tylenol and go to sleep. One of the strangest dreams I had, was of being in a very long race on an indoor track with other people slithering around like snakes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now accepting entries for May. April judging still in progress. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is the link to the group I do these Scripture writings with on Facebook if anyone else is interested in doing so also. https://www.facebook.com/groups/dailyscripturewritingplan/?ref=share Scripture writing - 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 Scripture: 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. Observations: Verse 3- our battle is a spiritual one. Verse 4- Therefore our weapons are spiritual too and powerful. Verse 5- Our weapons help us stay in line with God's will for us. Verse 6- We should be ready to defend our faith and God's righteousness at all times. Application: We have powerful spiritual weapons to fight the hardest spiritual battles to keep us in line with God's will for our lives. We should always be ready to fight the good fight. Prayer: Dear God, Keep us and guide us as we fight the good fight of faith. Teach us to use our weapons well and to be always ready to take a stand for you. In Jesus's Holy name, Amen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gratitude List 1. Food 2. Water 3. Shelter 4. Bed 5. Toiletries 6. I don't know there is much more to say about this quote. It says all that needs said. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I had to take a day off from the rigors of grad school! Tomorrow is a new day. I have several assignments due over the next few weeks, but took today to rest. 18 hour days are tough! On my adventures today I saw a lovely star. The star was familiar because it was Lilli ☕ (1295) . She says she doesn't understand meter but she writes it beautifully. Check out
and write your reports (entry). This is a case where actions speak louder than words. We need to be aware of what actually matters most. When you really think about it, true love doesn't pursue what can be gained for one’s self. It pursues relationship and the well being of another person. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ![]() Use these words in your entry today: discourage, bark, mountain, hard, merchant, diagram, serve, and, stable. I guess I will have to write more than one sentence for this one. Lol The Merchant drew out his diagram for his plan to serve his customers. He could hear the dogs bark as he thought it over. It seemed like a stable plan. Hopefully the hard track up the mountain did not discourage business.

Take UP Your Cross Prompt: Should we point out other people's sin to them? Why or why not? Answer: I have not been one to like pointing the finger at anyone. Well, at least I haven't since I was a child. 😊 However, the more I read the Bible, I am beginning to think we should let someone know when we believe them to be in error out of love for them but with a humble attitude. Our sin effects other people rather we realize it or not. Our thoughts and actions, good or bad has a ripple effect. I can't think of the exact chapter right off the top of my head, but I have been reading in Leviticus lately. It speaks of someone witnessing a sin and not telling about it, then it became sin for them also. Ouch! We must be careful what we witness, what we say, and how we say it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PROMPT May 6th Write about a community service or volunteer experience you’ve had in your life that made an impact on you. The volunteer experience that impacted my life the most was when I volunteered to clean a church weekly. I would get together with a couple other ladies and we would all do a thorough cleaning of the Church building. We would all work at it until it was all done. I found it to be enjoyable since all of us ladies had time to talk to each other while we were working. I always had a sense of accomplishment when it was done. We kept that building looking good. I will never forget the fellowship and comradery we had with each other. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Peter Tasker Write about this quote in your Blog entry today. I hate to sound ignorant, but I may have to claim ignorance on this one. I am not familiar with this quote, nor do I understand what it means. I am willing to learn if someone is willing to enlighten me though. I even tried googling the quote with no results. 🤷♀️ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Prompt: I was cruising the galaxy with Twikkie and found this planet: Alexi (652) Read this item:
Write about this item in your Blog entry today. As a woman from Oklahoma, I can feel this poem. I imagine some people felt like this on May 3rd, 1999. I love the poem and love the imagery. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ![]() https://www.onthisday.com/photos/penny-black https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postage_stamp The history of postage stamps is fascinating. Do you remember how much the first postage stamp cost you used to mail a letter? Did you write a letter or mail a card? Have you ever collected stamps? Postage stamps were 25 cents when I began to use them. I mailed cards and letters both. I have never collected stamps but I knew someone who did once.
