| Ninja Monkey Poem Challenge: We Are The Ninja Monkeys We are the Ninja Monkeys, lurking all about. We are always getting into mischief no doubt. Watch out! You never know where we will appear. We may challenge everything you hold dear. When we will be seen again, one can only imagine. We may have just taken over your search engine. Sneaky Little critters, we surprise people unaware. We spread lots of happiness, laughter, and good cheer. We may be mischievous, but we have hearts of gold. We keep you laughing so you’ll never get too old. Line count 10 Word Count 94 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  Take UP Your Cross Prompt: Isaiah 40:28-31 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. I would love to hear your thoughts on this passage of Scripture. What does it mean to you? Answer: I love this passage. It reminds us that our real strength comes from the Lord. Even when we are exhausted, worn down, and weak, God can give us more strength to push through our circumstances. In my weakness, God is made strong. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Observations: Verse 7- God is love. Therefore, everyone who is of God will radiate his love to others. Verse 8- If God's love doesn't radiate from you, you are not of God. Verse 9- We live through Christ. Verse 10- God loved us first. That is why he sent his son Jesus to save us. Verse 11- We should love others like God loves us. Verse 12- We can not see God. However, we can know his love is perfected in us or not by the way we love others. Application: Love others the way God loves you. Prayer: Dear God, Thank you for loving us and providing a way for our salvation. Thank you for sending your son Jesus to take our place. I could practically see and smell the flower blossom. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  Day 3127: June 9, 2021 Prompt: How do you find tranquility after a day full of stress? Do you have any specific steps you follow? It depends on what is stressing me out. I may want to just sit and soak in the tub after a long hard day at work. Another day, I may want to go to the park, take a walk, and take pictures of nature with my cell phone. Another time, I will listen to music. It depends on the circumstances and my mood. I might read a book or watch a movie. I might work on a craft project. As a person who gets anxiety, I have had to learn several ways to relax. If one doesn't work, I try another. Sometimes, you just need a nap to reset.
