Welcome to my blog: I intend to share heartfelt writing about anything that comes to mind. |
![]() 5/26 prompt In your opinion, what is the best Christian movie you have seen and why? I Am Not Ashamed is the best so far that I have seen. Here is the review of it that I wrote in my Rising Star program, "Review of I Am Not Ashamed." ![]() 5/27 prompt How has God provided for you lately? He has provided food, shelter, clothing. He is my constant and steady companion. He is my help when I need him. He is my anchor. He is my everything. What has he not provided? He provides my everything! 5/28 prompt Do something for someone to show them you value them like Jesus values them, and then write about the experience. What did you do? How did it make you feel? How did the other person respond? Etc... I try to do this with everyone every day. Today, I helped an elderly neighbor when they had fallen out of bed. Yesterday, I carried in her groceries. I try to put other's needs before my own within reason. Most of the time it is well received. Rarely, I get a negative reaction sometimes. It always makes me feel good to love others. 5/30 prompt Write about someone you can share your faith with during the month of June. How will you approach them? Write out a plan. What are your concerns and what can you do about them? etc... This is a good question even for me. There are a lot of people I know that don't know the Lord like I do. I am doing 2 network marketing businesses, and I can't help but notice the similarities in Christian soul winning. I think one of these days I need to write about how Christianity and network marketing are similar. It's really rather interesting when you think about it. I would like to use my new network marketing skills to witness to others. There is a lot of negativity associated with it, but it isn't all bad. I am learning so much. Even if I don't make a lot of money at it, I value the things and skills I am learning from it. That in itself is worth the investment to get started in the business of network marketing. |

![]() 5/23/2022 Prompt Since next Monday is Memorial Day, Do you believe you can still speak to the dead once they are gone? What is your view of Saints and Sainthood? I realize that many people believe in saints and saint hood. I personally don't believe we should pray to our dead. I won't say that you can't speak to them. Are they aware of it? I don't know. However, I do believe we should only pray to God (including God the Father, The Holy Spirit, and Jesus). I feel that when we pray or ask favors of anyone or anything else, we are putting them in the position and authority of God. If God is the ultimate authority, why bother asking anyone else? 5/24/2022 prompt Let's write about Jesus and the difference he has made in our lives. Jesus Christ has redeemed me from my sins. He is preparing a place in Heaven for my soul when my body dies. He has repaired my relationship with God the Father and has given me the ability to also become a child of God. He has made a huge difference in my life now. I am daring to dream again. I have a new hope. I can face tomorrow just because he lives. 5/25/2022 prompt Write about the story of King Solomon. King Solomon was made king after his father David. I find it interesting that he is also the son of Bathsheba, Urriah's wife before David had him killed. He was the wisest man on earth at that time. Because of his being king and his wisdom, he also had many riches. God gave him riches and wisdom because he originally asked God for wisdom to lead God's people. |
![]() prompt Proverbs 4:20-23 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. What do these verses say to you? The writer is expressing the importance of the words he is saying. He wants the reader to take them to heart and to not forget them. The writer's words will extend the reader's life and will add health to it. Keep guard over your heart because everything in life flows from it. ![]() |
![]() 5/14 prompt How does waiting on God increase your faith and dependence upon him? It makes us aware of how much we need God. We realize we are not in control and that his timing is perfect and he has our best interest at heart. 5/16 prompt What do you believe about revenge? Revenge belongs to the Lord. 5/17 prompt How can a Christian remain vigilant in Spiritual Warfare? A Christian remains vigilant by reading the Bible and spending time with God in prayer. 5/18 prompt Proverbs 4:14-19 14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. 15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. 16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. 18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. Write about what this scripture passage means to you. I believe this is saying don't get involved with evil people when they are up to no good. Walk away if you find yourself in a situation where they are trying to get you to join them in their mischief. They live, eat, drink, and breath to do wickedness. Wickedness is darkness and therefore blinding. Goodness is as light. It makes it easier to see straight. Goodness will become brighter and brighter the more it is practiced. 5/19 prompt What attitude should we have when we pray and worship God? We need to be humble, emptied of self, and reverent and respectful toward God. We need to remember who we are and who he is. 5/20 Prompt What promise or promises of God are you leaning into during this time in your life? All things work together for good and I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I also remind myself that Christ came not only to give us life but a more abundant life also. I remember God has a perfect plan for my life. |
