This has been a great week for prompts!

First, Ray Scrivener Author IconMail Icon came up with a whole bevy of brilliance for Screams.

Then, I meandered over to Dialogue 500 to find "A Conversation with William Shatner" as the prompt. I think I wrote that story in like 15 minutes immediately after seeing it. :)

Then, came the "be as wildly creative with a story about an usual day for a pet" prompt in Writer's Cramp that lead to a story about an alien who married a cat.

Today, I check in on Express It in Eight, and the prompt is to make up a word, define it, then use it in a poem. So, well, here's that one (anyone who has lived in a snowy place can probably relate):

Clug = the frozen, ever-growing clump of dirty snow and ice that forms behind a car’s wheels when driving snowy streets in the winter

Slamming the car door behind me,
I startle, a *crack* snapping loudly.

A shower of ice sprays my ankles.
I turned, my eyes narrow, mind rankles.

A half-shattered clug tips like pylon,
its nasty ice drenching my nylons.

I circled the car in a fury
and kicked off the rest in a flurry.
