Structurally and instrumentally similar to "What am I doin' Hangin' Round", which I love, though not a Nesmith composition. (I like all of individual Monkees, but I hate when Micky mugs for the camera in the song's video. It's too good a song.)

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band covers two Nesmith songs on the excellent "Uncle Charlie and his Dog Teddy," "Some of Shelly's Blues" and "Propinquity." (The album also includes fantastic covers of "Mr. Bojanges" and "House at Pooh Corner," so it is among my all time favorite albums.)

I like the balloon, and that you offer doubt of signs.

(I particularly hated "You Light up my Life." Though I'm atheist, I like knowing that she is singing about Jesus.)

Will later investigate the song. I am a Monkees' fan.

We live in the neighborhood of a Catholic church, and it has been so busy!! Sadly, I will miss Easter service at my own church, but there will be joy! And possibly eggs and rabbits. Who knows?!

What a delight. I do like you and I like your teeth! Your teeth remind me of my teeth, though I did have braces; still, years make the teeth want to slide back into their natural places... I went to the dentist yesterday (probably why I chose this prompt!) re: yes, caring for them! And I always tell my kids to floss, the wisest advice I can give in life!

The dream images resonate so well. Aagghh, teeth in dreams!

I love thy rhyme and rhythm of this, and I read it several times. My graceless fall - safe from it all. Brilliant and somehow scary too. As happens with us once in a while I think we have touched on similar themes.
