Just things that I think about now and then.

This is the first blog entry for me. Hopefully I will get it right, or at least head in that direction.

I am enjoying this community immensely. I have found a few kindred souls, and so far everyone has been welcoming. I am enjoying reviewing other's work. I hope to learn as I go from the reviews of my work. It is fun to see other's points of view, and inspires me to try to do my best.

I am looking forward to my journey here on Writing.com

The way the water parts it's like a blue carpet with white ruffles unfolding underneath you. It's simply beautiful and when you look up it's like you're kissing the clouds.

I'm glad we're keeping you from being buried in a book.

Agreed - I am more of a night owl and don't really catch many sunrises (unless I have not been to bed by that time) but I was in Egypt in February and got up early one day to watch the sunrise and it was stunning. Pity I can't share pictures here!

I'm with you - little too much adventure for me. I mean if I was in my 20's I might be game, but I'm over 50. Hard pass on zip-line, gorge, and cloudbuster.

sunrises are breathtaking. I love watching the sun slowly arise above the horizon with a coffee in my hand. Sometimes, it felt like it was only me and the sun sharing that intimate moment.

My mother always said I inherited my courage (though the kindest thing she would call it as ‘stupidity’) from my stepfather.
