Ja'moir and Ashley found themselves in a large entryway on the other side of the portal. The creatures that didn't attack them followed closely behind. Already there were guards coming toward them, at least she assumed them to be guards or security officers. It was normal for them to be everywhere. She leaned onto the cobra for support and took out the translator tool. If anything she didn't recognize the language on the walls even though she understood the letters were letters. That part was similar to her language and writing. She scanned the letters on the wall and Porch language appeared on her translator. Welcome to Albacore Castle her translator came up with. Then he pulled out the translator too, explaining he didn't know this language well and wasn't fluent in it to speak. Let alone understand a simple conversation. "Hello, welcome to the Albacore Castle. Please put all except one creatures away in your slots or boxes for the safety of everyone. You have too many creatures out," one guard said as they approached. "These are not our creatures but they are turning from their old masters to us. Please keep them safe until we are able to accept them into our inventory. There are more important matters to discuss. We've been kidnapped and had to fight our way through hordes of creatures to get over here. This cobra is the most knowledgeable of all of them about their old master's plans. There were two different masters, a couple, causing havoc in our escape for help. They've taken the other six victims somewhere across the ocean. Please save them too," Ashley said into the translator and waited for the translator to do its work. "If these are not your creatures then why are they following you?" the other guard asked. "We talked them into joining our side and turning their back on their old master. They had doubts about why they were there and if it was the right thing. They helped us fight a hydra of Spicy element and are committed to protecting us. 50 choose Ja'moir and 50 choose me. If it weren't for them then we'd be dead by now," Ja'moir spoke up. "We are going to have to take these creatures in for questioning. You said that these creatures aren't yours then? It's a process to be able to put them into your boxes..." the first guard pondered. "Yes. We don't speak your language but obviously you are in Albacore country south of Amerosa. That's where we belong. We hope to return the creatures we hatched to their rightful owners," Ashley said, then realized both guards appeared to be female in nature. "Do you have a passport?" the other guard spoke up. "Not me, neither her. We were kidnapped from by that city, where we live," Ja'moir replied. "You and your creatures will have to be deported then. You will return to your own country. Good luck finding the owner of these creatures. Now come with us. We will handle your creatures," the first guard said, motioning with their hand. The two of them followed the guards into a security office, as they could tell by the cameras and TV screens up on the walls, and sat down in comfortable chairs. They did like the idea of going back home and sometimes a dragon would take them all the way. This was the case. Tomorrow they will be sent and the 100 creatures would follow shortly after. They warned against meeting Old Skull and Flame Poison until they were strong enough to take on these two criminals. Their profile and clothing didn't match those criminals. Still they could tell the people didn't trust them. As if they were wearing a mask. She sighed. She hoped they would be able to go back home. Word Count: 635 Activity: "The Bradbury" ![]() |
