Vic works from home so I'm never actually alone, but I do spend a lot of time outside reading, I find it peaceful and restorative because I'm surrounded with the birds. Often, I simply sit and watch the hummingbirds. Those moments are precious.
I always wanted a library room, one that was just mine where I could write or read for hours, maybe someday.
I don't consider every failure a failure, I typically see it as I wasn't as prepared as I thought I was. Maybe that's wisdom but for me it's more likely I'm mighty stubborn and don't like to give up. But when I've done it repeatedly and the light comes on.. I can't expect a different result when I keep doing it exactly the same way. Thankfully, those moments don't happen as frequently as they once did.
