I wasn't sure what KINTSUGI was so I looked it up, actually I have heard of the concept but I did not know that was the word. A good analogy to use in your poem

Thanks so much for the kind words, Jenny! Yeah, it's set in the American south, where states are trying to ban abortions and make it a crime to travel to another state to get one. This activity has been a lot of fun.

I love this Version of "She's leaving Home" - When I was a kid my Mum used to play the Sgt Pepper album and I loved this one, I like the way you have set it in America (Greyhound?) To make it a bit different. It tells a story and flows well. You have written some great poems for this competition!

Well, I know a herbal remedy or two...or some physical activity
that might do, might do.
Hugs and chin up.
We of the great order of wokeness will win in the end.
Just ait, around the bend,
even those Repubs bubs will see
throught the orange hate and glee

Rigby

Eleanor Rigby attends the masses
for all the bodies she buries.
Her Instagram leaves clues
that nobody notices
because she's practically invisible;
not even Father McKenzie
remembers her last name.
The people of the St. Peter's
Parish Church community
turn on their televisions to the news
to find another stranger's
gone missing. Rigby just stares.
She knows the next victim
may one day be herself
if someone catches on
and outs her as the cause
of the many recent disappearings.
And of all the lonely people,
she knows where they have gone.
