TW!! Self-harming and Suicidal Ideation TW!!

I am currently writing this book. It is both an exercise to hone my long-term storytelling ability and character development, as well as a way to subtly reference other works that inspire me. The book follows two characters, Malena and Sandy, with Malena as the main character and narrator. It is intended to be in the past tense, as if she is telling a story that happened to her, since that is also a struggle for me to be consistent with.
This is mostly a writing exercise, but if I find that people enjoy the story and I see real improvement, I would love to expand the story further!
