This is merely a collection of my thoughts on various topics, as I think of them, or find them in my other writings. All are original, and I state freely that they are generally highly opinionated.
It was important to: 1. impose a puritanical Christian view on everybody. 2. to prevent any relationship that was frowned upon like inter-racial and same sex relationships. 3. tradition... even long after it no longer serves a purpose. 4. control... to be able to criminalize normal behaviour.
Involvement is great but exhausting. I don't have the energy these days other than to share my views and experience and call-out meanness and lies.
For years I was involved in my community in non-partisan ways. No longer. Kicks in the shins and few pats on the back will do that. Would I do it again? You betcha! But I don't have the energy any longer.

Thanks, ZD!
I got to thinking that people are much the same in this way. If we are happy and satisfied with the status quo, we don't go out to look for new and better things for ourselves. It is when we are unhappy or dissatisfied that we go out in search of "greener grass."
Why not the same for Muses who provide us with creativity?
Hey ARchie- This is really insightful. I don't recall ever hearing the muse described this way before. The idea that it has to be unhappy, or unfullfilled to be active is new to me, but I like it! Makes a lot of sense.
