~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Chapter One~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sara turned her head and laughed at her friend, Monique.
"No really where are we going?" Sara tried to see through the rain.
"There's a party over at Jason's, so i figured we would sneak you out of your dorm and go."
"Sounds good I need a break anyways. Professor Altum's been on my ass about my damn report it's not even due yet!" Sara took her sleeve and wiped the window to the passenger's door.
"He as it out for you, so I've heard." Monque teased and turned into Jason's drive parking. She turned the car off and handed Sara an umbrella.
"You might want to borrow this." Sara looked out the window and thought just maybe.
"Let's go." Sara followed Monique's lead into the house.
Entering she had to admit the only person she knew was Monique. Not her cup of tea she hated not knowing anyone. She wandered around through the crowd following her friend until she stopped before a guy that she guessed would be Jason.
"Hey, Monique what's up? Whose this doll?"
Name: Voric Felton (Is his name at the moment, it changes once in a while)
Age: lost count, appears to be nineteen
Race: Vampire
Description: Black hair long in the back tied into a ponytail, almost always covered by a cowboy hat, with dark blue eyes that seams to shimmer in dim light.
Height:6 foot 3
Weight: 183
Voric stood against a wall watching all the people go by. Good blood was here and he was hungry. On of the best places to pick up the evening’s meal was at these collage parties. He tipped his hat lower over his eyes as he looked around judging the people around and to see which one would suit his purposes for the night.
He stayed away from where the bigger crowd was and anywhere where mirrors where, so he was limited to where he could travel in some of these places but he didn’t mind. There was always at least one that would walk into his domain where he can get the them. Besides, he was content for the moment to enjoy the view.
Sara laughed at the question and rolled her eyes.
"Jason this is Sara." Monique turned her dark head to gesture her hand at the girl behind her.
"Nice to meet you." Sara turned her gaze around the people in the room boredly. So far this party was lame as far as she was concerned. As for Jason she had gotten the idea that he was yet another victum fallen prey to the pretty girl she liked to call her bestfriend. Too bad for him she never stayed with anyone of her guys long.
"Pleasure's all mine hun." Jason strode a hand forward for her to shake. Sara took it casually giving it a light shake before turning around.
"Hey isn't that Amy over there?" Sara lied through her teeth. Monique looked the way Sara's head pointed and shook her head.
"I don't see anyone."
"I'll be back I am sure it was her." Sara lied and headed off towards the pool area. It seemed it was the quietest area around the whole place everyone was inside boozing. Sara took a seat aside the pool taking her sandels off and letting her feet dangle into the water. Looking around she frowned this wasn't her idea of a break. She sighed her bestfriend was a true party animal the two clashed when it came to having anything in common. That's why she liked her but this was way too much for her.
The decision to walk back to her dorm crossed her mind. Monique would be busy anyways she shrugged. She would get ahold of her alike every other morning and listen to her brag she shook her head grabbing up her sandels and replacing them on her feet. She stood up gazing around for direction. There it was almost hidden by the nightly shadow. She looked up at the red moon and smiled softly since childhood she had always had a fascination for it. She headed off on her way ready to be rid of the party and it's drunken patrons.
Voric watched the woman leave and tilted his hat again. This night might be easier than I thought. When will they learn not to go off by themselves on dark rainy nights. He hide his smile as made his way out of the party to fallow the girl.
He got two blocks ahead of her and waited for her to walk by. He again lowered the brim of his hat as if to seem just there. He had also swiped an umbrella from the party, he highly doubted that the person who had would need it later that night, and unfortunately for this girl, should probably will not need it after tonight if he gets his way. He was getting real thirsty.
Sara watched the lights through the rain a gust of wind blew her umbrella off with the wind.
"Dammit." She reached trying to grab it. By the time she had made it around the cornor she was soaked. She kicked at a puddle could this night get any worse? She got the odd sensation she was being watched and picke dup her pace. She headed left for her car and pulled out the keys getting in. She started the engine and headed left at the stop sign.
Another car came rearing from around the cornor Sara jerked her head around. What the hell? She put her car in reverse avoiding the collison when in her mirror she saw a figure standing behind her vehicle she swerved to avoid hitting them. Her car flipped over the curve. Sara could feel the blood oozing down her forehead she reached up and touched it trying to wipe it away. When she looked at her hand it was covered. She looked through the glass window at her reflection before her eyes closed and she went unconscious.
Voric looked down at his ruined meal. It wouldn’t be as good now. But still a meal was a meal and he didn’t really care to waste any more time finding another one. He reached down and pulled the young woman out. What a waste of a beauty. He laid her out on the pavement and he went to sink his fangs into her flesh he heard the sirens of an ambulance and a cop car coming around the corner of few blocks away.
He looked down at the young woman on the ground. He though about scooping her up and taking her away to finish his meal, but for some reason he couldn’t do that. He let the cops and ambulance get to him as he tipped his hat even lower to hide his eye while withdrawing his fangs.
A cop stepped out of the car with his gun pointed at him yelling for him to “Put your hands where I can see them!” Foolish cop, like that gun could hurt me. He thought about killing the cop for his insolents, but decided against it and obliged the cop.
The cops partner got out and handcuffed him. With his hands behind his back. Foolish human he though.
“Now what happened here?” The cop asked as the paramedics moved in to take care of his meal.
“Don’t know, I just pulled her out of the car there.” He said calmly.
“What is your relationship with this woman?”
“Nothing, just pulled her out of that car, figured she would be safer that way.”
“Are you a medic?”
“No.”
“You do know we could arrest you for moving an injured victim.”
“I was just doing what I though helped.”
The paramedics moved the woman into the ambulance and took off. “What is your name?”
“Voric.”
Voric what?
“Voric Felton.” He was starting to get annoyed by this cop.
“Do you want a ride to see how she is doing?” The question caught him off guard as he looked to the horizon, it was almost dawn. The cop released him from his handcuffs. “No, that will be ok. If she wants to see me then tell her to call out Voric in the night.
Name: Lilya Lubovna Romanov
Age: Was bit somewhere in 18th centry Russia.
Race: Vampire
Description: Her short black hair, which makes her blue-green eyes glow, stops on her shoulders framing her face. Lilya likes the feeling of tight clothes and isnt afraid to show her body.
Height:5'10"
Lilya had been wandering for some time without a purpose. Looking for something that set all other things apart from the normal. She had met others like herself, but she wanted more, there had to be something beyond herself.With this philosophy she could feed her hunger for blood but not her hunger for knowledge.
She'd already tried the whole "make your own posse" thing and grown bored of it. What else was there to do with a life that lasted forever? This is what she was searching for, something interesting to help pass the time.
"Those damn college kids", cursed the man who had just walked into the bar wearing a police uniform.
Lilya listened in for something exciting.
"What is it now" asked the waitress named Winona.
"Oh, just another car accident we had to clean up. None of them should have their liscences, she was probly coming back from a party, cant wait til the blood results come in and prove me right again, cause I could always...", The cop just droned on as Lilya letf to go check out some college parties. They had to be better than the shitty little resterant she'd been sitting in all day.
Sara's eyes twitched as she overheard conversation going on in front of her.
"The blood results are in. She hadn't been drinking. But we did happen to over hear that there was another car she had put her car in reverse to miss them hitting hers. It seems some of her fellow college students called in. But why she swerved after that no one seems to know."
Docter Hedger explained to the cops.
"What does that Voric kid know? The on who pulled her out of her vehicle? Did we ever get his statement? Maybe he knows why she swerved." Officer Drake looked at his fellow commrade.
"No the only thing he said is he pulled her out of the vehicle. We were going to arrest him but it seems he could smell gas or somethign sir not too long after he left it had caught on fire." Officer Martin and Drake exchanged looks.
"Find him we need a statement. How is she doing as of now?" Officer Drake looked back to the Docter.
"She has a severe head injury the way it looks she might not wake up we are unsure at the moment what else is going on with her we've been running tests. But she has been speaking not loud enough to make it out just bits and pieces."
"Like?" Officer Drake pulled out a pen and paper.
"Please don't hit and I am not sure what the other was."
"What do you think it means?" Officer Martin looked at the girl laying on the bed.
"Sounds like she was asking for someone not to hit her. But why would she be asking that after she missed them hitting her?" The docter shrugged it made no sense.
"Other than that she mumbles the name you mentioned earliar." The docter continued.
"You mean Voric? So, she does know him. Find him." Officer Drake sent Officer Martin out with the orders. Doctor Hedger and Officer Drake also left the room to check the test results.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sara awoke in the hospital bed and looked around she had no idea where she was or who she was for that matter all she remembered was swerving her car to avoid hitting a man. And someone named Voric. Her head hurt so bad she couldn't think past anything other than finding whoever this person was. She had to know what was going on for that matter who she was; he had to know.

She looked around the room finding her original clothes she put them on over the hospital scrubs. First floor it seemed she opened the window after tearing off her monitor and i.v. She climbed out the window and looked around. Where was she when she had the accident? If only she oculd remember where it was she was suposed to be going.

She went through the alley heading as far away from the hospital has she could. She read each street sign and tried to recollect her memory but it was no use. She looked up at the rain falling from the sky.

"Voric where are you?"

Voric heard the meal that he missed the other night call his name. What an idiotic girl. She escaped death once, and now she is calling out to her killer. He kept to the shadows fallowing her voice threw the city not wanted to risk a change. Once he found her he could tell that she wasn’t the same. Her blood ran different. Her heart wasn’t like it was before. But yet she would still make a good meal.

He kept to the shadows listening for her to call out to him again. He rolled his neck to loosen it up as he step out of the shadows after making sure that she wasn’t fallowed. Nothing would interfere with his meal this time.

As he step out he wondered why should be calling out to him in her state, but it mattered not. Yet he could not bring himself just to take her either. He had never felt that way before, and it was really making him mad.

“You called miss?” He asked as he bowed and tipped his hate as to hide his eyes for the moment. He felt like toying with this new prize maybe that would do it.

Lilya was bored, with her never ending boredom that plagued her. She was walking down a dark road away from the useless college party she had just left.

Her ears pricked up, something or someone was nearby, and her senses were telling her something strange. They were twitching and shivering.
She only ever got this feeling when...Another like her was near. Slowly she spun in a circle searching for the direction. The night had suddenly gotten a lot more exciting. Picking her way through the woods she gathered speed but kept herself stealthy. Before long she came apon the one she felt and hide in the bushes waiting for him to sense her.

"Voric?" Sara looked at him with uncertainity and question in her eyes.

"I am Voric." He studied the girl he couldn't udnerstand why she had left the hospital apparently of her own accord and without being discharged to just call him.

"I wish I could say you look familiar, but I cannot recall your face much less anything else other than the accident and your name. I am so confused. I know I shouldn't be outside the hospital but I couldn't think past finding whatever you know about me out." Sara winced her head had started to throb she could feel the wetness apon the gash of fresh blood. She closed her eyes briefly taking her hand to her forehead.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Doctor Hedger amongest several nurses ran into Sara's hospital room to check the moniters that had been going rampede. The girl was gone.
Officers Drake and Martin appeared back in the door Dr. Hedger turned to face them.
"I don't understand she shouldn't be even conscious. The test results show that her brain is hemerging blood. If you do not find her tongith she will more than likely be dead before you can. I'm afraid even if you do find her there is nothing we can do for her now." Doctor Hedger frowned.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sara looked back at Voric her vision was getting blurry she rubbed at her eyes. Her breathing had hastened it had seemed to grow more difficult to catch it.

"Please tell me you know something." She managed to get out through her attempts to breath normal.
Voric straighten to look at this girl. She was only going to be a meal to him, but now she was laboring for breath and he smelled the stench of death on her. For some reason he couldn’t answer her. Instead he walked over to this girl while moving his wrist in front of his mouth and let one of his fangs come out to tear the skin so his blood would flow.

“I need you to trust me now if you want to live.” He stopped to look in her eyes, her breath was laboring now and death wasn’t far away for her. He could end it all for her, which should properly would have liked better in the long run. But for some reason he felt he had to save this girl from death although what he is proposing was a living death, witch may be worse than death.

Her eyes watched him as she couldn’t get enough breath to make a word. “No questions just do as I tell you, I may be able to help you. Now I am going to put my wrist to your mouth and you have to suck the blood. Don’t do it to fast or you will die, drink it like your drinking something like your morning coffee, but don’t stop until I tell you understand?” She blinked and Voric raised his cut wrist to her mouth. He knew this wasn’t the type of medical practice she was used to, but this will work for her, but the consequences of this may be different than what she hoped for.

As he held the woman. He felt another strange sensation. The sensation of a vampire nearby. Sending a thought to her to approach from behind the woman if she wanted to come near so not to scare her.
A Non-Existent User
It was an odd scene that Lilya was witnessing, not that she hadnt seen it before, it had happened to her long ago. The one she was getting the vampire sense from, a man in a cowboy hat, was turning the woman. Not very many were just given this opportunity unless one was trying feebly to make an army. Though she could see his reasons, the woman was near death because of different causes.

"Come closer if you wish, just dont startle the girl",His voice was in her head.

So she did, slowly she came up behind to get a better view of the women sucking on the man's wrist.

"Why didnt you just kill her? You cant possibly have feelings for her?, Lilya boldly asked this vampire who had invited her into the situation.
A Non-Existent User
"Alright." Voric looked at the girl in his arms then at the other vampire. He wasn't prepared to answer her question so he didn't. He also hadn't been thinking past saving her to his reason why. She would need a place to rest while her body took on the changes. At least her breathing was better he gathered the girl in her arms.

"Do you have any idea what your doing? Surely your not taking her with you?" Lilya looked at the vampire blankly.

"What do you suggest?" Voric headed off with the girl the other vampire at his trail. Lilya raised her brow.

"You can come too if you wish. I don't think I quite caught your name." Voric hoped she would stop meandering him with questions.

"Lilya Romanov." She walked aside him looking at the girl and shook her head.
Voric had picked up the girl and started towards the abandon house that had had been using to lair in for a while. He never did stay in one place to long and once he got the urge to see something new, he went. He didn’t know himself why he felt like helping this woman, for all she was food for him, and she still might be that, he hadn’t decided. He still wanted to know why she would be calling out to him in the night. Was her memory that bad to only know his name? And if so, how did she know? Did the cops tell her what he had said? All those questions and he came up with no logical answers for any of it.

And now this Lilya Romanov was fallowing her, why he had no idea. Maybe because she wanted to see something. He was interested in why she was interested in what he was to do with this girl. “Where are you from miss Lilya?” He asked as he walked.
A Non-Existent User
"Oh, here and there, but mostly everywhere", she said with a smirk.

Voric sighed, getting a little agrivated.

"Okay, I was born and died in Russia, but since the death...Well...You know how it is, the great wandering."

They came onto the porch of the abandoned house and creaked their way through the unlocked front door. Voric walked over and layed the girl on a dusty sofa. She could stay there for the changing process being as though all the windows in the house seemed to be boarded up.

"Nice place you got here Voric", Lilya commented.

"Yeah," he grunted. "So how did you find me and why are you so interested in my buisness?"

"I dont know really, I sensed you and I guess curiosity killed the cat. And speaking of that, who is this girl your so fond of?" Lilya asked trying to be suave.
Name: Angeless Le'stat

Height: 6'10"

Weight: 145

(Not the legendary le'stat but is often mistaken for him)

Angeless was sitting up in one of his usual haunts. The top of a church spire long since desanctified. The graveyard spanning as far as he could see. A yawn crossed his face and he rolled his head as his fangs grew out. He had been trailing the scent of a Vampire that he knew eons ago. So much time spanned between the meetings yet he could identify it easily.

"Voric...you've returned "he sighed before dropping off the edge.

He landed as if the drop had been less than a hop and continued walking. He stopped to feed on a lone male before he would visit him proper. drawing his presence in as much as he could he slipped into the house unoticed. He watched Voric for a moment before he let out a small ahem. He was stood so just his shoes were visable in a stray beam of light.

"Show youself Vampire...come closer so I may look upon your face "asked Voric?

"I would expect an ancient like yourself would remember a old pupil of the blood "smiled Le'stat stepping out of the shadow.

He tucked his hair behind his ears giving the other Vampire little more than a brief glance.

"Le'stat...you have changed "sighed Voric looking him up and down.

Angeless raised his left hand and turned to the right and took a step. Voric saw the burn on his neck and remembered who he was.

"Not The Le'stat...you're the other Le'stat. What brings you here to my dominion "sighed Voric.

Angeless smiled.

"I mearly wished to know how the man who taught me the delights of the undead....was fairing in such a new world "asked Angeless glancing at the girl on the Sofa.

Prity...soon to become just another sired Vampire. He also knew better than to test the mood of a Vampire who could kill him easily.

"The truth is...I felt I needed to seek you out "sighed Angeless flicking his hair slightly.

Sara stirred awaking on the sofa she looked aroundly weary of the sights. She sat up quietly and turned her head towards the voice she heard speak she looked at the stranger almost as though he were transparent before turning her head to Voric in an unspoken question.

"It's alright he's just an old friend." Voric assured her.

"Where are we?" She looked around at the dark house.

"One of the many places I stay at from time to time." Voric turned his head back to Angeless.

"Seek me out for what?"

Sara looked past the two to another female standing in the archway between rooms. She bit her lip trying to recall if she knew the two people.

Voric looked back at her for a moment.

"What's wrong?"

"You still haven't told me how I know you or how it is you know me." Sara looked so confused and overwhelmed her mind was racing attempting to recall him to memory as well as the other two. She was growing frustrated with the ordeal and felt the need to just strangle something. Anything a pillow something to tear it to shreds and release what she was feeling.

"This should be interesting." Lilya muttered.
Voric stood there not knowing what to do first. He still didn’t know why he decided to save the girls life, and she still thought that he know something about her. And now Angeless Le'stat had shown up to enlist his help. He had fought in the vampire wars a long time ago, and after that he gave up the in fighting for it never lead to anything. Angeless’s brother was a hero of those times for a side. He decided that he had to get the girl away from them for a while, so instead of answering either one of them, he tipped his hat low and beckoned for the girl to fallow him into the basement where he had a good sized bed for her to sleep on.

He knew that soon he would have to go out to get himself a meal to feed her again, but that would wait until later and he found out what the others want. She looked at him with the same question in her eyes. He knew that she was dying to know who she was and how he knew her, but that too would have to wait until later.

“Try to rest some more, your still not completely recovered yet.” He said smoothly as he walked out to see to the others.

I should have brought some popcorn, Lilya laughed to herself. She had been sitting in the corner the whole time watching this Angeless Le'stat. Knowing she had heard his name somewhere a long time ago did not help her curiosity. The luck she was having tonight, she hadn't had so much excitement in decades.

Voric had gone with the girl to lay her down somewhere away from all the fun, leaving Lilya and Angeless anlone.

He noticed she was there when he first came in and tried to ignore her. Now there was no stopping her from talking to him since Voric left, he cursed to himself.

"I've heard of you somewhere, Angeless Le'stat", she thought out loud this time.

"Yeah, Im sure you have Lilya", he said not looking at her.
A Non-Existent User
Sara awoke sitting up on the bed and glanced around the basement. She got up setting the covers down apon the bed and walked around glancing at a few things. She headed for the stairway when a glimpse of something sparkling caught her eyes. She walked towards and looked down at a small broken mirror.

She picked up a shard in her hand and flipped it over looking into it she screamed the shard fell from her grasp and shattered onto the floor before her. She knelt down trying to pick up all the pieces frantically she pieced them back together and looked within the broken mirror once more. Her reflection wasn't there confused she sat starring as if awaiting it to jump out from behind a shard. Nothing came; she could hear footsteps on the stairs she lifted her head watching the person walk down the stairs then starred back to the mirror apon the floor.

Voric returned to the other two vampires. What did Angeless Le'stat want he kept asking himself. It wasn’t like they had left on the best of terms, and now his help was needed? Most of the older race of vampires knew he wanted nothing to do with them ever again. He was tired of it all.

Le’stat watched him as he reentered the room. The woman was still there. He knew he shouldn’t wish it but he wished that they where gone so he could help the girl. He took off his hat completely, letting his eyes be shown to both of them. “What do you want Le’stat?”

He didn’t notice Lilya sneaking around him to where he had just came out of.

Lilya snuck past Voric while he engaged in conversation with Le'stat. Her feet made no sound and soon she was through the door and into the basement. It was dark, but she could see perfectly. The girl - now vampire - sat on the floor next to the bed looking at something on the floor. It was a broken mirror placed back together, she was looking into it confused.

"You'll never see yourself in that ever again". Lilya walked behind her and looked into the mirror, also seeing nothing.

"Who are you? Whats happened to me?". she asked frantically.

"I am a vampire, the names Lilya, and you, you are just like me now." Lilya said laughing.
"Our wounds don't heal over time...they just get bigger...the physical heal quick ah but the mind...it just stays there "sighed Angeless avoiding a direct answer.

"Is there a point to all this "asked Voric with a hint of a smile?

Angeless paused in mid stride. He faced Voric and gave him a brief smile.

"Tut tut...reading my thaugth's...but yes true...My point is that not all of us are fit to endure immortality...too few have the stamina to last more than a hundred years. I have been lucky in my un-life. A few run ins with Vampire hunters...a not so welcome visit by the Vatican "sighed Angeless.

He ran his fingers lovingly over the burn.

"The Vampire wars left a mark on everything no matter how small it seemed. Like a thumb print in time...and yet one can't help but notice...We're still here "sighed Angeless trying to read deeper into Voric.

*Does he want the girl? What does he want from me? Why turn up now? Does he still have the power to dust a Vampire? Is he's here to kill me?*

They were just a few of many so numerus he could not hear them all. He had forgoten how much Voric liked to think about things.

"Relax Voric...I'm not here to kill you. My power has long since diminished. I guess the was forced me to evolve my gifts...but what goes up must come down... "sighed Angeless as his eyes glowed slightly.

Sara watched Lilya laugh and stood to look at her.

"You did this?"

"No, not me. Although I wish I could say I did, but it was all Voric." Lilya smiled at her by her look she didn't want to believe her. "Don't let him fool you."

"I don't believe you." Sara walked over and gripped the side of the bed. Lilya followed after her.

"Why don't you just ask him?" Lilya was right behind her she watched her grip on the bed rail tighten.

Voric looked at Angeless, He had changed since the last time they had met. He was a good fighter and killer of vampires. At one time they thought he to be a vampire slayer. Little did the general populace at that time know what he really was, a fighter for a side in a war that they did not know about.

So, you want me to help what? Give you your power back? Is that what you still crave?

“You.” Came a voice from behind her.

“Dam” flashed through his mind and both vampires read it and laughed.

“You did this to me!”

“You wanted to live.”

“You call this living!” She showed him a piece of of glass and looked into it, again not seeing herself. “This is what you give! I didn’t want it.”

“And what did you want me to do? You wanted to know about yourself, for that you had to be alive, well at least sort of alive. Now you can live forever, isn’t that what all women want, to be young and beautiful forever!”
A Non-Existent User
"I know its what I wanted... Come now dont decieve yourself. In your heart you know what you really wanted." Lilya said from the doorway to the basement.

"I asked to live didnt I?"

"In a way you are still living." Voric stated. "Your body dies but your soul lives on."

Sara collapsed in anger on the floor crying. "What am I supposed to do? Look at what I am, I'm a creature."

"Oh, It'll be alright. Sure your a creature, a creature of the night. And soon you'll come to find its not that bad, its pretty entertaining at times....like now for example." Lilya said coming to her side trying to comfort her.
Angeless had drawn himself inward slightly. There was a unnerving harshness to the girl. A feeling of immence cold ran through him and all he did was shiver slightly. She was so full of fear and uncertanty that he wished he had not read her. Yet he couldn't avoid the knowelege that he knew her spirit from some point in his past.

"Why do I feel like I know her...? "thaught Angeless.

"Are you talking to me? "asked the girl?

Angeless looked up he was sure he hadn't said it aloud. Unless she was already able to read his thaugths.

"Have we met before? "he asked her unable to shake the feeling?
A Non-Existent User
Sara watched him wanting to answer him, but she was unable to. She just starred into his eyes searching for anything to help her regain some memory of him and how he would know her.

"I don't know." She spoke back softly to him in her thoughts. Angeless couldn't back down the feeling he urged his mind to recall. It seemed as though she was struggling to do the same. His eyes widened at the recollection of where he had sensed her spirit and recalled their words finally her name.

"Saphrona?" He said aloud watching her expression. Voric's expression changed at the mention of the name as he tried to search for a reason at why Angeless would mention Saphrona to the girl.

Sara's head lifted looking back at Angeless at her speechlessness he guessed she had some rememberance even if faint of the name said.
Angeless still stood overlooking the girl now that he could finally see her face with her hair out of her eyes he knew why her spirit seemed so familiar. He couldn't understand why Voric himself hadn't noticed it sooner or perhaps he had and didn't want to frighten her. Sara turned her head to Voric the question still in her eyes as if to ask.

Lilya onwatched taking a seat apon the couch. Voric jerked Angeless aside his eyes averted to his.

"Why would you say that name to her?" Voric's voice was quiet and filled with anger.

"Can't you feel her spirit? Or have you been avoiding it?" Angeless spat back at him.

Sara looked at Lilya who gave her a small smirk as if to say I told you so. Sara frowned she covered her eyes with a hand trying to think.
Voric pulled his hat down to hide his face. How dare he mention that name to him again, or to her. That was one of those mummeries that he had left ages ago. A person of great importance in his life. Was that the reason he had saved her? Was her spirit in that woman? That girl?

Voric sighed and tipped his hat even lower as he head to the door. He knew that the sun was almost up. “I have to take a walk.” He said over his shoulder to everyone.
"It's almost sunrise...you should be careful "sighed Angeless.

That was just a small part of his acursid dark gifts. Remembering everything...the knoweledge of everything he tasted the blood of. Mortal and immortal alike.

"What's got him all stuffy "asked Lilya with a small smile?

Angeless remebered one such ocassion where Voric had turned on him like that. alittle over 300 years ago in the waining years of the Vampire wars. He had been a member of the hunters...the group responsible for dusting several of the Vampire council masters. Voric had grown weary of using his gifts to erase other Vampires. Angeless on the other hand reveled in it. There was little the two hadn't done together. But both were growing bored. To many battles had reduced them to shells.

"There are few things I would love more right now than to dust you...but I am not who I was in the wars...Funny how things from the past creep up on you...things that should have turned to dust years ago "he sighed looking at Sara.

He looked through a small gap in the window and sighed.

"Even now he hates me for what I did...it was an acident. I never meant to...not to her "sighed Angelss thinking to himself.

"What didn't you mean to do? "asked Sara aloud?

He sighed and did not answer her. He was going to have to put more of an effort into clouding his mind to other Vampires. He was drawing in his powers so he could better avoid her prying thaughts.

"It doesn't matter...a private matter "sighed Angeless as he supressed his pressence even more.

'Twas night here in the city, the moon thick and full as it hung in the sky, like a child had stapled it there in a kindergarden project. Black eyes, hidden by mass amounts of foliage watched the street for any sign of his childe, he could smell her here. Panther dropped, his padded black paws silent on the ground as he carefully changed into his human form, pulling his silk shirt free of wrinkles he moved forward, "Lilya, your Sire calls." He murmured softly as he set out into the night.

Sara sighed heavily and walked back downstairs leaving Lilya and Angeless alone. She laid back on the bed her head was throbbing from confusion;
she closed her eyes.

Sara stood by the door awatching an old man as he conversated with another man. Both appeared to be vampires.

"I want Voric dead and his friend. Do you understand me? I will not have my daughter around with such filth." The older of the two vampires growled as he slammed his fist down on the table causing it to crack around his hand.

"I understand." The other vampire replied and disappeared.

Sara entered the room and put a smile on her face as she walked up to the man reconizing him at once as her father.

"Saphrona." He reached his arms out to hug her.
Sara embraced him not knowing what else to do. She was confused she recalled Angeless calling her Saphrona. But, Angeless had said he had done something to her. Sara let go of her father and looked into his face.

"My dear I am afraid I will be late for dinner tonight. You will go with Amashur."

"Yes, father." Sara curtsied and watched her father leave the room. She ran from the room heading downstairs she raced for the door. She had to find Voric first.

Sara ran into the night it almost felt as though she knew which way she needed to go. She couldn't understand it it was as though her feet were walking by themselves till at last she found herself standing before a broken down home within the shelter of the woods. She made her way to it.

A hand clasped her shoulder drawing her back she looked back into the eyes of Angeless.

"Angeless where is-" Sara looked down at her heart blood was running down her chest. Angeless's hand released the stake as he looked into her eyes. Sara looked back in utter confusion as he watched her fall to the ground.

"Find Voric." Sara pleaded with him through her tears as he walked away. She laid there alone expecting to die as she closed her eyes awaiting fate she could hear a voice calling her.

Magravine Sara's mind shouted has she awoke in a heavy sweat her hands clentching the sheet that was on the bed as she sat up with a jolt.

Sara placed her hands on the side of her head trying to go through the memories again. The necklace before Saphrona's father left he placed a necklace around her neck as some sort of promise. She hadn't noticed that part of her dream until now. She felt her neck and pulled up the necklace that hung from it looking at it in her hand. She flipped it over her teeth sinking into her lip as she read the name that was etched on the back of it.

"To my loving daughter, Saphrona." Sara clentched it in her hand and tore it's string that held it around her neck as she got up from the bed.

She closed her eyes again trying to see what else had happened from there on. She watched a figure stand above her. The woman had long black hair and blue eyes she smiled at her taking up her hand.

"The ritual starts." She heard her whisper as she began to chant in a native tongue unknown to Sara.

Sara reopened her eyes as a tear escaped. She remembered, Magravine had sought her out. They had made a deal that she would turn Sara to human and erase her meomory of everything if Sara would grant her the one thing she wanted all her life. Magravine had wanted eternal life and Sara had given it to her. She was Saphrona; Angeless never did has he had thought. He had only began the bleeding out part of the first ritual to her being reincarnated to life. The next was the invoking of the spirit to the body. Sara shook her head she had to find Voric. Better yet Angeless everything else from her past was still dim, but this part she did recall. Perhaps Angeless and Voric could her to remeber.

Sara stood from the bed making her ways upstairs she glanced around searching the rooms for anyone she could find.

"Angeless." She screamed aloud as she walked into the room where him and Lilya had apparently dosed off themselves. Angeless sat up startled from an old dusty chair and Lilya lifted her head from an old couch in the center of the room.

"What's wrong?" Angeless starred at the girl as he rubbed his eyes. Sara wanted to answer but was having a hard time getting her voice to work.

"Here." She finally managed to exhale has she tossed him the necklace.

"Where did you get this? This is a-" Angeless looked at the crest apon the necklace.

"Flip it over." Sara watched him as he slowly turned it over and read the etched inscription.
He looked back up at her speechless.

"Where did she get this?" Angeless's mind roared heated from memory.

"My father." Sara spoke back.

Voric knew that the sun would be up soon, yet he had to get away and clear his head. He headed towards the center of town where he knew there was a old abandon four story building he could stay the day at.

Why was all this happening, why now. He wanted the past to be past and he didn’t want to be dragged back in to any of the others problems. Not that he had created his own problem when he helped that girl back there. Everything seemed to circling around what he did to help the woman who wanted to live. He knew that he shouldn’t have, but for some reason he was compelled to.

He knew that he should leave her the way that he did for the day. But he just had to get away before he lost his brain, what he had left of it anyway. He still didn’t trust Angeless either, not after what he did.

He found the building he was looking for and walked in, his hat over his eyes and went to the dark corner to sleep the day away, she would be alright this time, he thought.
It was like a light flicking on. All the memories he'd hidden and forgoten came surging back. In reverse to the begining of his long and bloody history.

~He remembered staking her and walking away. fighting once more in the later years of the wars. Being bound and broken by the Council. He remembered being captured and tortured by the council for years. His role in the first great Vampire war. Fighting side by side with Voric. He remembered the spark that had ignited his power. Renouncing his love of her. Saphrona betraying him to her farther. His secret love of Saphrona. Meeting Voric for the first time~

He remembered sealing his own memories to what had happened. How his mesmerising voice was broken. The breaking of the world. He looked at Sara and she was looking shocked.

"I know what you saw...for it is in my mind. The carnage of my past isn't plesent. You saw but a lingering memory...nothing more than a shadow of ages gone by in smoke and shadow "thaught Angeless as he locked her gaze.

"I...didn't know "she thaught back loudly.

"Not even Voric knows of all my past, Our past...I used my once great voice on you...to foget me...but you resisted till the end. In that instant I was able to clear you mind of me "he chuckled softly.

It was a disturbing sound that chilled her.

"I had dominion over all things who heard my voice...at the height of my power I turned Vampires one by one away from the war. If not to stave the destruction of my kin "sighed Angeless running his hands through his hair.
"I believe 'had' is the key word, Angeless." Panther said, lounging in the doorway, his black eyes sweeping the trio in the room.

"Who're you?" The girl 'Sara, Saphrona' his mind whispered, asked him.

"I am Panther." He replied, a smirk touching his lips.

"He's an ancient," Lilya spoke quickly, standing.

"I am." He pushed off from the wood, "But not quite as old as our friend Angeless, though I do recall the once-famous voice and how it all but disappeared that night, we all thought you were dead. The Council of Elders... they are setting about war, no longer amongst themselves, but between them and their prey."

"What do you mean?" Angeless demanded.

"I mean that they are setting about 'dealing' with the human race, gotten all big-headed they have, want to make humans cattle." Panther glanced at Lilya, "This is why I sought you, Lilya, cover story, but where you are others are as well."

Saphrona jerked Angeless aside.

"There is more you are not telling me about the past isn't there? The only thing I know is my father wanted to kill you and Voric. And, I went to find you before they got to the two of you. Apparently you think I betrayed the two of you and you tried to kill me for betrayl. And, that is the extent of all I know other than how I became a human which is still vague." Saphrona exhaled looking at him. Angeless stood speechless as he stared at her.

"Fine if you will not tell me. I know at least one person who will." Saphrona frowned and stormed off heading out the door.

"Saphrona. . ." Angeless murmered.
Voric entered the abanded place and looked around quickly. Nobody was around, just as he expected. It was always good to have more than one place to hide. The windows where mostly boarded up except for one that was missing two boards. That was one of the many reasons that this place wasn’t his favorite. At least the sun doesn’t penetrate too badly. He thought about going out to feed, but then he wouldn’t have time to make it back.

He shrugged to himself wondering what in the world he had gotten himself into by turning that girl. He looked outside before heading downstairs, and there she was, what in the world was she doing out, did she know that the sun will kill her?

“Damn it,” he muttered, almost deciding to let he die, but then he walked out, “And what do you think you are doing?”

"Looking for you." She snapped.

"Well, you found me."

"Who is Saphrona? Who was she to you and Angeless?"

Voric stood at a lose for words and looked at her helplessly. He could tell she was despritely trying to read his thoughts. But, there was something else about her. She nolonger seemed to be the same girl she was back at the abandoned house.

"You know I figured if there was one person who would help me it would be you. I guess I was wrong about you. But, I should tell you something. Angeless didn't kill me." She exhaled before turning her back on him. "Thanks for nothing." She started off keeping her body concealed from the light.
Voric started to let her leave the house, but then noticed the sun coming up again, and against his will to just let her die there and then voric grabbed her. “go sit over there, and I’ll explain what you want to know. But you cannot leave here until tonight, for I didn’t save you just to let you die, no matter who you are.

That was the question on his mind now. And he wished he could just sleep on it. But seeing that that wasn’t going to happen, he might as well tell her what she wanted to know to keep on living.

And what did she mean that Saphrona wasn’t killed by Angless, she wouldn’t know anyway so he had just dismissed the idea. Which made him wonder what the others have been doing to here when he left. Angless must have giving her some information and she was worried. That must be it since she had been dead for centuries. So he was still after him, just in a different way.

“Saphorna,” he started after turning the woman around, “She was,” he stopped again, trying to phrase his words to what he wanted to say. “She was my other half back then. She and I, well, anyway. Angless did kill her, why? I don’t know jealousy maybe? It matters not. For he did kill her and for that I will never forgive him.” He then turned to pace a little, wondering again why he needed his help. He had given up the wars after then and wasn’t about to get back into them.

“What do you think you need to know about her? I was in love with her and her me, at least I think so.” Voric tipped his hat back down over his eyes and turned around. “why do you want to know anyway?”
"It's all coming back to me...I see things I thaught were lost. But I can't change the things I've done. "sighed Angeless thinking aloud.

"That oh so simple thing as meeting somebody can turn you whole world upside down...change who and what you are "thaught angeless to himself yet also as a detached part of his former life.

He left the room and headed down into the basement. He needed to be alone with the knewfound memories.

---------------------------

Sitting alone in the darkness of the basement he contemplated things. Thinking was always his problem.

"I can't remember what I used to be...I've been turning it all around. I'm sorry, oh so sorry
Is this what I have become? "

"Wish I may, wish I might Be someone else tonight
Sometimes I wish I was never born at all "

"Something's turning me upside down
You made me...and I love you, But I can't change the things I've done "

"Sometimes I wish I was never born at all
And I try to save the world "

I see no, hear no evil. Black writings on the wall, Unleashed a million faces...one by one they fall "

"Black hearted evil
Brave hearted hero
I am all...I am "

"Go ahead and try to see through me. Do it if you dare? One step forward, two steps back now
I'm Near "

"Can you see all of me? Walk into my mystery
Step inside and hold on for dear life... "

"Do you remember me?
Capture you or set you free "

His mind was burning from all that he knew.

"I think I loved her first? I think she made me?? "once the last realisation came to him.

Rising out of the darkness he was different. Somehow more acepting of his own evils. Like he had purged himself. He had never felt so acepting of the evil in his heart. Along with the spark that had set him against the council. Love pure and unsullied by the world he knew now.

"We have work to do Panther...Tell me everything "he sighed as he took up the mantle of the general he once was.
Panther raised an eyebrow, "Nice of you to ignore me so long, Angeless."

"Just tell me what's going on." He huffed.

"The Council has fallen apart at the seams, they have broken off from one another and each partition has his own way of takng over the world and will stop at nothing to get it. I hear that one of them even killed his mate because she said that it would be a bad idea. There is a ringleader, his name is... you should get a kick out of this, his name is Kainabus."

Angeless froze, "No, not... my sire?"

"The very same." Panther said, seating himself gracefully, "He's decided that humans should be cattle, beasts of burden and he's damn close to figuring out a way to getting it that way. He has a human processing plant, and he's building more across the continent. He's got a few vampires in the higher-ups department and he's setting them up to kill them and have his own people take over. It's scary how much he's been able to form over these past seven years. And there's a rumour that he's searching for a girl, a girl with powers as a vampire that few have ever inherited within the vampiric gene pool..."

"No, not..."

"Exactly."

Saph looked at him unmoving she gathered up enough air to finally utter out a word.

"Love." Her face went from distraut to her normal composition as she began rambeling on about her father, angeless and everything she had grown to understand. That was it she had been living for quite sometime as a student reliving the same years over and over and never recalling having lived them at all till now. Her mind raced as she grabbed up the necklace and threw it at Voric's feet.

"Believe what you will, but for now I need more answers." Saph sighed and turned away.
Voric picked up the necklace that was thrown at him. The name on it was Saphrona, but Voric wasn’t about to start believing her. Besides, several hundreds could have had that name since he had been alive, so it means nothing.

“Answers? Well? If you ever find those answers, let me know. But I think you’ve been brainwashed, and all this put into you head by an enemy. But do as you like, I will not stop you.” Voric shrugged and started down towards the basement. Maybe he should have let Angeless kill him all those years ago. But then, he still felt as if he had to do something more.

“I will not be involved in any of that anymore.” He vowed to himself under his breath. “Voric and the wars shall be separated forever. And if Angeless countuies to try to get a him, he will kill him with his own hands by ripping him to shreds.

He left the woman that had taken to calling herself Saphrona alone in that room. He just didn’t care anymore, he had tried everything, and seemed to be all wrong. Let her find out for herself. That seemed the right thing to do. But then, she was still his responsibility. Maybe some sleep will do. If she is still around after he can figure out what to do about her, and Angeless for telling her about those times.
He could feel Vorics sense of betrayal from upstairs. One good thing about him was he could read into people easyer than most. But then again he could also feel that there would be reprisals for allowing the girl to get so far into his memories.

"Damm her and those powers...I must take greater care to sheild myself. Make them virtualy blind to him... "he sighed knowing just how much she could have skimmed of him.

He prayed to god...Hoping she hadn't seen the knowelege of how he could use his powers. He was well practiced in control. But if her undisiplined mind tried to use them. She could dust every vampire in the city...maybe the whole region.

"You feel like a echo...my old friend. A wound in life. So hard to hear if I didn't know what I was looking for "sighed Panther.

"I have....made a grievous sin. The girl. I believe she may have seen the teachings of Archron...the firesong and the lions roar "sighed Angeless sensing Voric moving deeper into the depths of the house.

"The wind on fire? How...that has been dead to you for centuries "Spoke Panther.

Angeless sighed.

"I closed myself off from it. The bonds to all the vampires flows in me...for every one that dies I feel it. The final battle of the war...was so heavy with lood I blinded myself to all things...but I have felt it stiring "sighed Angeless.

Killing was in his nature...but the gravity of all those lost lives wouldn't leave him. He carrys the weight of tens of thousands of dead vampires on his shoulders...cursed to feel there pain and anguish.

Saphrona sat in the room she could tell by Voric's aura change that he thought she had lost her mind. Telling him the truth and what had really happened would be a lose for she doubted he would believe it. Saphrona closed her eyes and concentrated her focus she could feel something inside that needed to be released. She focused on whatever it was at the same time trying to contemplate what it might be.

She felt as though a presence had made it's why into the room she was in. She kept her eyes closed and continued to focus.

"What are you doing?"

She ignored the voice she could hear it something growing louder almost as if someone was shouting a name, but she couldn't make out who it was they were calling she was too entranced by whatever it was she needed to let go.

She felt a hand touch her shoulder and she jerked up looking them in the eyes.

A look of disbelief shone in the others.

"Saph....?"

She finally took in what the stare was about. Long ebony hair flowed about her shoulders like it had done before she had under gone the change.
Her eyes gazed at them.
Voric laid down on the bed in the basement. Most vampires preferred coffins, but he still longed for the human bed. Even if he was tired though his mind would not let him sleep. He kept running his thoughts through that woman’s ranting. What if it was true? But there was no way, he had seen what had happened. But if there was hope, but there shouldn’t be.

Voric was confused. Angless wanted him to fight again, and if she was his Saphrona, then where did he fit in her life this time? He didn’t have the answers, and has been a long time since he had such feelings.
Angeless had been silent now for what he felt was an age. He had been aware of the blood trickling down his his neck. The vatican Brand still burning him...still his weakest point. He made no atempt to qwell the flow.

"Voric...my friend. My Brother in blood. What have I done "he thaught again.

Something had changed inside him making him regret his past. He found himself questioning all his choices...was he acting true or falling into shadow?

"I am blinded by love "he sighed quietly.

Even a sigh in a room full of vampires was not a good idea. Supernatural sense's were often a pain.

Saph looked into their eyes and then stood jerking her shoulder away as she headed for the door.

"Does that make you a foe?" Saph looked at Angeless before slamming the door hard behind her.

She had no idea where she was going as she walked out into the cool night air. She just wanted to be alone to think for herself to sort of piece what the hell was happening together.
Her head ached from the confusion. She sat down on the steps leading to the door with a huff.

"None of this makes any sense, but yet I know ir's right." She shook her head running her fingers through it.
Voric laid there thinking. For some reason he couldn’t put it all together. There was no way she could still be alive, yet he knew it was her. Her power had returned too, and in greater force. He didn’t know what to make of that either.

And Angless and his war. He didn’t want to be a part of it all again. There was no point. What rule did everyone play in the grander scheme of things? He shook his head and walked up the stars. He looked at angless, “I am going out to feed, and when I come back you better tell me what the hell you want me in the war for.” he snarled without meaning too and slammed the door on the way out.

And then he right back into her again. dam it all to hell he cursed in his head, forgetting she could read his thoughts clearly now.
Angeless stood there unthinking. Making his mind a hollow void was one way of detering somebody reading him. That soon became tiresome to him and he allowed himself to think. He couldn't help but stray to his memories of his brief period with Saphrona. His mind grew crouded with recolections of that love. Some particularly graphic memories made him smile briefly.

"Maybe these things should stay dust. The ashes of the past comended to the winds. I want these memories to be real but at the cost of losing Voric? The only man I've ever loved... "he thaught quietly.

"Angeless? "asked Lilya?

"Hmm "answered Angeless being imersed in his memories.

"...Can you think about that a little less...It's all I'm getting from you. And it's not helping my mood with you thinking about sex so loudly "hissed Lilya.

Angeless was thankfull he couldn't blush. But he wished he could when Saphrona came in and was looking at him with a look a embarisment and curiosity. Now his mind was flooded by thaughts of her...new and old.

"You still remember...being with me? "asked Spahrona?

He was brutaly honest for once in his life.

"Yes...I don't remember ever being that happy with somebody "he sighed wishing Lilya and pantha weren't staring at him.

"You still care about me don't you "asked Saphrona?

He didn't answer but the pained look on his face preceded his answer. He wanted to say no but couldn't

Saphrona didn't need for him to answer she could already read his expression as he answered her question.

Saphrona gazed around the room her face getting redder. "I'm going to feed." She lied. She didn't care if they knew she had or not she just wanted out of there at that moment.

She walked back out the door and sat down again on what little of the steps were left. She slumped down againest the rickety railing her head was flashing memories a mile a minute. She couldn't comprehend it all until her last memory played. It seemed to be the one memory that she had that was whole. She could feel the pain almost as if it were still a fresh wound. Questions began to take over her mind as she tried to escape the memories of past that had found theur way back.

"Why?" She muttered as a tear dropped off her cheek.
Voric sat up quickly. It had just come to him, all the memories of the past. All the hell and damnation and all the sweet and loving moments in his life hit him. It hit him hard, taking his breath away. He knew he was transmitting everything his eyes where seeing at that moment, but the way they overtook him he had no control over them.

His memory went over Sophrona mostly. All his encounters with her. His being with her, him watching angeless from the secert room be with her. Him and Angeless confronting Sophrona’s father. He remembered that they both loved her and that both of them had mad a pact to free her of her father. But something went wrong and they failed in a fight they should have won. Sophrona was dragged in front of her father and held there by her fathers loyal guards. Both him and Angeless couldn’t understand it, they weren’t able to move to do anything to help one girl they all cared about. Sophrona’s father moved the girl’s clothes from her heart to bear it to the silver spike he had in his hand. His hand went forward and Angeless and him could do nothing but watch there love die.

But something happened, there was a flash of light just for a moment that had blinded both Angeless and himself for a brief few seconds. When the light vanished Sophrona gasped and turned around, exposing the spike in her heart before falling to the floor.

Angeless and him both though it was Sophrona’s power releasing on last time before her death. But what if in the light someone switched places so to speak. In fact he was sure of it. So the fact is the war was still on and he will have to fight. Voric sighed to himself and started up the stairs, hoping no one caught to much of his emotions as he ascended the stairs. When he got to the top he starred at Angeless. “I will fight for you as long as you promise me one thing.” Angeless raised an eyebrow. “that you kill me when it is over I don’t want to walk this earth anymore.”
Angeless smirked briefly grasped Vorics Hand and looked him in the eyes.

"Promise...But Don't think I'm letting you go alone...or easily "smirked Angeless.

"You really are an odd Vampire Lestat "smiled Voric.

Angeless smirked that odd smile of his as his eyes glowed faintly in the dim light.

"Ancients...I don't understand either of them "sighed Lilya.

Panther regarded them silently.

"Angeless...Voric. Those two dusted an entire vampire Region in one night. Just because they were bored "Sighed Panther to Lilya.

Panther stood there it unsettled him thinking about what those two could do when they were motivated. Lilya was looking at them she could believe Voric being capable of that, but Angeless...from the things she'd caught him thinking about. That man would kill for love and had on many ocassions.

"As strong as Voric is...Angeless is the one the council seems to fear the most. What is it about him that Gives off this sense of dread? Like I'm going to die if he even looks at me? "thaught Panther?
Saphrona looked around the night air something or someone seemed to lingure within the trees. She stood up with ease keeping her eyes on the movement as she walked down the steps. By the time she had reached the edge of the old houses stone walkway a hand grabbed hers turning her around. Angeless....

"What is it?" Angeless could sense the feeling of hesitation.

"I am unsure." Her voice was calm, but she couldn't shake the feeling of warning. She turned back towards the trees; it was gone.

"Let us go back inside and gather the others." Angless started to walk back until he felt a pull on his hand then he realized he hadn't let go of her hand. He let his hand slip away as he kept his eyes from hers.

"I do not think it meant harm, but why would it not show itself?" Saphrona could tell he was shielding his thoughts from her. It was beginning to agitate her to no extent everytime she entered a room. She stopped her mind drifting back to thoughts of her and Voric. He was her first love and somehow her father had made her believe he had betrayed her when he had left for all those years. She had felt abandoned in her sorrows and then fallen for Angeless. Voric's return had brought her mixed emotion confusion and anger among others. She had still cared for him but had left it there for other feelings towards Angeless. Remorse had plagued her and she had drawn herself away from Angeless causing him to believe she had betrayed him and Voric. She had drawn herself away hoping to salvage their friendship and their cause despite how she felt. After that choice she had shielded her thoughts allowing none to know what drove her back to her father. Her father whom marked her as a traitor and staked her before all. She should have died that day in her heart she wanted it and now being reunited with Voric and Angeless made her feel it stronger.

"Who died?" Angless shuddered he couldn't read her thoughts clearly but he could sense how she felt. He put his hand on her shoulder looking at her.

"No one it was a mistake."

At her reply Angeless raised a brow she had dropped her defenses allowing him to read her thoughts. He grew silent it had never occured to him how she felt and why she had pulled away. He stood silently facing her not knowing what to say.
Voric was down in his room near the wall when he sensed everyone was back yet he didn’t move. He just starred at the blank wall and had been for a while now. The last time he did this was the war all those years and centuries ago. Finally he sighed and walked up to the wall and closing his eyes put his hands on the center of the wall and started sliding it to the right opening up a room with a cloud of dust coming out of the whole he was making.

Once the door was open Voric walked over to a wall lighting first one lamp, then the other one directly across from it. He took his time looking around the room, remembering every last item in there and trying to remember everyone who had felt the edge of those weapons preserved in this room. All the items he was to take revenge on people with these tools. Now it was once again time for him to don them and go to war, a war of that he knew was probably suicide, but this time he was not turning back. He would see it through until the end. Of course, he was ready to die this time as well. Immortality had it’s drawbacks. The boredom of living forever makes life lose it’s fever after.

Voric walked over to a clothing cabinet and opening it slowly to see his old bright red cape and blue armored vest that he stored in a bag to keep them safe. He smiled to himself as he pulled it out and dusting it off. He grinned a grin he hadn’t had since he left his love all those years ago as he doned the weapons and armor of a vampire war.

Voric walked up the stairs after pulling all weapons he could on his body and stopped on the top stair taking everyone in with his eyes, blanking his mind. “If any of you want anything down there it’s yours, just stay out of my way.” He then looked to Angeless, “where do you want me to start my… our war.”
Saphrona kept to herself for awhile allowing time to dwell on her thoughts. As much has she wanted to resolve her past it would have to wait. A war that had been sulking in the shadows gaining silently it's comrades was about to set forth againest the Council. There was much knowledge that she lacked about the times she had been away. Yet time away had brought her an advantage for her father believed her dead. She knew the Council would be prepared and they needed every advantage they could get to uphold their cause. The time to hide was over now was the time to move forth and gather their comrades for it would not be long till the Council found the threat that would give it demise.

"It is time." Saphrona muttered rejoining the group. Voric met her with a nod as he contined to grab various things.

"Can we say someone has a grudge?" Lilya's tongue licked her fangs as she watched Voric.

"Grab all that we can. I am going to need to know everything that has taken place since I have been away. " Saphrona tucked her hair behind her ears has she trailed her finger down the stock of a gauge.

Voric turned and looked at Lilya, “ A grudge?” He shook his head. “No not a grudge, a need to be rid of the people who would rule as if they where gods. A grudge is something you personally hold, but this goes way above my personal feelings. Yes I want to destroy them for my personal feelings for what they did to me…. Us,” He added as he looked at Saphrona and Angeless.

He then turned his gaze to Saphrona as she watched him and remembered times long past and a part of him wishing he could recapture that someday even if it was for one moment. “Saphrona, you father contols most of the world leaders and been enslaving human’s as cattle. You know the blood banks for American Red Cross and suchlike? They are fronts for the counsel to house people in tubes to drain there blood. Other than that killing, fighting, all the old sins in the book. You should know your father, he hasn’t changed much over there years.”

Voric stopped and thought for a moment, “The counsel has too places in this city one is a blood bank that I was just describing the other is a house and militia for the vampire army. I think the blood bank will be easier to destroy if we take out the vampire army in the area first so I am headed there.” He shouldered his modified rifle on his shoulder and started out the door.
