our constitution

The U.S. Constitution of 220 years has remained a living document because the government and the citizens enforce & live by it. Everything from Women's rights to being out to trial by jury and innocence until proven guilty. Every President the U.S. has had since the constitution was put into full effect, has enforced the laws and amendments of the constitution. The constitution is what gives each and every person equal rights, no matter what religion, race, sex, etc. Without the constitution, nobody would have rights, and the government would receive all power, and rule everyone in the U.S. These are the reason that the constitution remains a living document for 220 years.

Each one of the amendments of the constitution mean different things. For example, Amendment 1 stands for the freedom of religion, press, and expression. Also, there's Amendment 19, for Women's suffrage. Although all the amendments are different, without all of them, the U.S. would be in chaos. In my own opinion, I am very appreciative of the power that the constitution gives me. I love my freedom, just like every other U.S. citizen, and I wouldn't trade anything for it. Hopefully one day, ll of the world can have the freedom for themselves that the U.S. has for this country. Although, everyday there are tons of people that choose to live in anarchy, above the constitution, I believe the constitution has helped and made the U.S. a better place.

The constitution is probably the most precious thing the U.S. has to offer. The reason why we have so many immigrants is because they want to have the freedom that U.S. citizens have. The Government knew that the constitution was important, so they kept it as a permanent document throughout history. The constitution has been alive for a while, and will hopefully live for generations, due to it's power. It remains today to help all people of the U.S. and to treat them equally like human beings should be treated. The constitution defends everybody. The importance is outrageous. This is why the constitution remains a living document in the United States.
