I've replied to this idea previously but can't find it to link to... so one more time.

We don't offer this as an option simply because it would flood group gift point logs and groups wouldn't be able to find anything they needed within their GP log.

Imagine 10 or 20 cNote shops sending GPs to a group each time a single cNote is sent. In no time, that group's "received" logged would be flooded. People sending large donations to the group would easily be missed or overlooked... I think the logs of groups like RAOK would become a "cnote sent" forest.

The only way reasonable to do this would to make a sub-bank that sent the GPs from cNotes once a day or once a week. But the amount of back-end coding work that would go into that on our end is pretty big.

So... While this is a very valid suggestion, there are a lot of elements that make it rather infeasible. It's really best for groups if those who run cNote shops go based off their cNote log and send GPs over to the groups once a week or so. (Once a day is fine, but I think it is much easier for a cNote shop owner to just do it once a week or so.)
