Pace

Think of the most relaxing place on the planet (real or imagined), and write a descriptive paragraph about it.

Think of the most hectic place on the planet (school run/ aerial dogfight/ commuting etc.), and write a descriptive paragraph about it.

Note how you controlled the pace, what the length and construction of sentences was like, and the vocabulary used.

For the 18th August, try marrying these two ideas of pace into one short descriptive item, eg: dashing for the last ferry to a peaceful island, or a character relaxing in the woods before being chased.
