I am sorry your Grandmothers stories were destroyed and you were unable to get your parents to write theirs. I never thought of doing this, but it's too late for me now lol. Well, I guess it does not matter because I am kind of writing my own even though I am not calling it my Memoir or have not touched it in about a year lol.
That's great you are writing stories about your life. I do hope that your children and grandchildren will one day treasure them.
