This is where you can post your examples of the Lessons and review other's entries. |
WELCOME TO THE POETRY LESSON AND DISCUSSION GROUP! Come ride on the trail with us. Learn a little, teach a little, share a little. We would love to have you on in our wagon train.
NEWEST LINK FOR JULY 2008
How this works: 1. If you submit an entry, please note in your title or subject either the lesson number or the topic (Irony, compare/contrast etc). Post all entries for the lessons on this message forum. 2. Please post your entries in bitem format. {bitem:the number of your piece} (no spaces or # symbols) 3. You do not have to do these in order but you might want to do Lessons 1-4, or at least a couple of these, before you do the next set. 4. There is currently no gp cost for taking part. This is just for us to improve our own writing and get in a habit of writing every day. 5. Please feel free to suggest ideas for lessons. You can email them to me and I will be happy to turn them into a lesson or just reference your item in the lesson section. 6. Don't forget to review each other's pieces also and post them on this site so we all can read the reviews. You may count reviews of these items in your total count for Ye Trustworthy Pioneers Review Forum. HOW TO REVIEW SO WE CAN READ THE REVIEW AND THE WRITER CAN GET A RATING: Go ahead and rate the pieces directly at the bottom of the poem and do your review. Then copy your review. Go back to this forum, click the entry the you just reviewed and paste your review there also-so that the other participants can read your review. 7. HAVE FUN, FELLOW PIONEERS AND VISITORS. All of you with kids or grandkids who are still young, check out this site and give them some prompts to write about too.
NOTE TO PARTICIPANTS: If something doesn't look right or if you have suggestions about font size, color, etc, please email me on my own port rather than placing the message here. When you try these poems out, put them here and we all can check them out. Thanks for participating and for being my honorary guinea pigs for this grand experiment. |
