I, for one, started one off-site and was writing for several months before I told a friend about it. I was happy to note very little change in the way I wrote, though I would sometimes leave vaguely put together paragraphs for him to read, when something he did bothered me and I didn't know how else to tell him. Then, I moved my journal here to Writing.Com, due to requests of some people. I'm very happy to say that my journal still has not changed from how I used to write those first few months, though I do average 6-7 views per entry (not as many as some people, I'm sure, but... ). And I have a general idea who at least 3 of those people are, and other than the vague paragraphs intended for my thick-headed friend (for some reason he gets me when I write vague paragraphs, but not when I talk to him... hmm...), I'm still writing the same way I did when I thought nobody was reading. I do tend to explain myself a bit more, in consideration for those reading, but that's about it. Still, I have seen people write just for those reading, their tone changes into more of a story feel, and it makes it hard to enjoy their journal, cuz then you're not sure how much to believe... ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** I miss you Aaron... ~*~*~RANDOM PLUG~*~*~ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() emileedavila
