Writer's Fallout Shelter

I am a newbie too and proud of it! I was actually looking for another poetry site when I found this site through my search.

I fully intend to take advantage of my lucky find, jumping in with both feet with no life preserver!

So far I have only talked to a few here but have already got one review, no make that two!

My head is racing with new themes for my writings.

I am searching out some old work I did. Perhaps I might be able to polish them enough here to be able to fulfill a child hood dream, to become a professional writer.

My biggest problem has always been the "sigh", punctuation, correct grammar.

When I try to edit myself I rewrite so much that I destroy my work.

Where can one find an editor that can fix the "dangling do hickies", sentences that expand into novels all by themselves, without changing the full meaning of your stories, or poetry?

If anything keeps me from writing, or rather it would be to seek to become a professional writer, that would be it.

Ok, I do have the other problem, talking way to much!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
