Do you ever feel the need to offer yourself rewards or bribes if you accomplish your writing goals?
I was going to order the latest HP book today so it would be delivered to my door on the 16th, but a member of my writing group talked me into holding off on it. She knows that if I get it, I'll let my own writing go and instead will read HP. Since I'm getting close to finishing my first novel, she suggested I hold off on buying it and "reward" myself with it when I reach The End.
What about you? Do you dangle any carrots in front of yourself in order to reach your goals?
