Yeah, me too. Especially if the story held my attention and the error didn't jump out at me.  But, I'm sure you mention something from the story that assures the author you actually read it. I'm putting myself in the author's shoes and I would be dissappointed if something wasn't commented on, wouldn't you? A character you liked, a particular scene, a line, a name? The review could still be 250 character's. Even a 5 star author want's to know why it was liked, what they did right, don't they?
