If you wrote a good, 35 or more kb story, how do you think you would feel about receiving a 'great job', 255 character review? High rate, no errors, great job.
Would you be okay with it?

I wouldn't be okay with it -- it wouldn't make me mad, but basically that kind of review is an ego boost and nothing more (and not much of an ego boost, since you can't be sure they really read it).
I finally added 'review questions' to all of my chapters to make reviewing easier for people, and to get the specific feedback that I need. That way, even if people aren't feeling especially wordy I can at least learn SOMETHING. I wish more writers would do this...I know I'd do more reviews if I knew what, specifically, the writer wanted to know.
