Spring 2006 SLAM! - Congrats to the winners - see you all next time! |
"Invalid Item" ![]() I gave away my most important autograph on Valentine's Day. And for that one day, my name weighed more than a cement truck and stood taller than the Sear's Tower. Fitting nicely on the dotted line, five full inches of freedom. That night I threw my laundry on the floor, clean and dirty conversing with the carpet, while eating peanut butter with a dirty index finger and watching T.V. as naked as I've ever dared to be. I gifted myself with Valentines candy, and the neat little tan line where slavery ended. A tiny ring of pure white freedom, more precious than any diamond, more rewarding than any marriage. Praising no other lover than the woman in the bathroom cabinet... The best Valentine surprise from you did not arrive in a heart shaped mystery chocolate box or a stuffed floppy eared dog wearing a tuxedo. You gave me a special autograph, a lazy scrawl spread out next to mine on the divorce papers.
