         Let's take a break from autobiographies for a while! For the next week (or more) we will work on a short story. But don't forget your own experienec when you create your characters or describe what happens to them- remember that it is detail from life that you have actually experienced (emotions, sights, smells, etc.) that will give life to your fictional characters.

1st-3rd Grade:

Have the child pick a story starter card and write a story from it.
