That'll be impossible for me to pull off. I was born and lived all of my entire days in this country, and for the life of me, unless I was in a French class or Quebec City I have seen like a handful of Frenchers up close. I know, it's crazy, and yes, I do get outside-but that is my math. That, and I nearly failed French and I can't speak or understand anything other than English, minus a good chunk of British and that written in old English. As for British dwellers, there is none of those here either. The only time I ever see anyone British is on screen in the movies. So that leaves everyone else, which more or less is a massive combination of everything from every country that exists. I've grown up with friends who are everything from Cambodian to Ecuadorian. What I do know is that if you can't speak at least three different languages when looking for a job, you get the backseat and an empty breadbasket where I am. So, all I can offer for an accent is my inherited European (Austrian/Yugoslavian) one, and to hear me talk too fast and fall all over my words with the mispronunciation of the odd thing, they'll need to make a live broadcast feed on Writing.com. Thank goodness we're still in the Stone Age on this site! (Phew...!) |
